I do not have a link or a copy of a military record or anything like that, but I have been told numerous times (even before this "incident" arose) that DS was a decorated sniper in the Gulf War. Thinkaboutthis - you bring up some excellent points !

The day that they seached DS parents house, they had the driveway blocked off with a state trooper, so he probably was told to stay across the street, BUT , he should have just kept driving IMHO if he came home and saw the house was being searched.

My personal opinion is that they do not want him to flee or cause any harm to anyone else. In the Marines, he was a decorated sniper in the Middle East, I am guessing they do not want anyone else harmed and would want to grab him the minute they have what they need
