Grrrrrr. At least Boyd is in LE custody. It appears to me that he is in Big Trouble since the victim is reported to be under 14 years of age. How could he? I guess Boyd forgot all about, "to serve & protect." Hoping the child is in a safe place and receiving counseling.

Hmmm, not liking the comments in bold in the above post, @mlhenn. This just doesn't sound good at all. Hoping his wife will see him soon at home... She, like many of us if we were in this type situation, is very worried. Glad that LE is aware of this, and hoping they are busy following whatever...

He's been missing about 3 weeks. Hoping his home area in Englewood is in one of the better areas. This one is worrisome -- there doesn't seem to be much info on where he might have gone -- to see friends or relatives, or looking for a job, or something much worse.

Hoping he will be found and that he is okay.

Hoping that the little guy is doing well and will have no recollection of this incident or of his injury. Methinks the baby sitter is in a bit of trouble -- apparently Michigan law requires that gun owners must have firearms locked in storage containers if a minor is in the home. - - - - - - -...

bbm Same here -- maybe one of the girls had breathing trouble when sleeping, so they had a monitor? Maybe the monitor was installed before the current family moved into the house... Wondering if either or both of the girls knew the monitor was there? This is just awful.

Just hoping the first responders will be asked what they saw when they took the little guy to the hospital -- I'm sure at least some of the responders have seen this type thing before, and they probably know the difference in a fall and in a beating. Certainly the folks at the hospital know...

Same here, @Mert. Waiting to find out in which court the 12 y/o will be tried. I am glad that there is a video.

bbm Yes, a monster. At least there won't have to be a trial which would put even more agony on her family and on those who truly loved and enjoyed her. May she rest in peace.

What did the Division of Child and Family Services do to make sure this child was doing well? Did they go to the home to see that things were all right for this child to be schooled at home, to check that he looked well-fed and healthy? Did they check on his home schooling -- his books and...

All I can say is that at least that ~man~ is in the slammer... Grrrrr. Her parents are probably at their wits' ends. Sending strength to them in my prayers. Keep flying high, sweet Hania, keep flying high.
