So, what happens if my DNA is a match to the woman in Wisconsin? Will someone call me or Sarah? Will we get something in the mail? Will I find out here?
Also, can we bring her remains home?
Guess I am jumping the gun, but just wondering.

I went to the police station this morning. They offered to come to my house, but I figured they are doing us a favor, so they swabbed my mouth and sent it somewhere. Guess we'll find out if the woman is our mother pretty soon.
Oh... and I looked at the photos of the murdered woman and they...
Haaa... slow aren't I? Okay, I think I sent in everything I need to be verified. I plan on being reunited with my mother one day, and we are gonna have a serious chat about her "issues". Good thing I love her.
Thanks again for your help.
Penny
K... I sent an email to be verified, but didn't know what "case" meant. Did you want my mother's name or a number?
7394 is the case number I was given when I set her up on NamUs.
Thanks... Penny
Hey thanks Masnitram. I saw the Charley Project not long ago, but not DoeNetwork. What a wonderful bunch of people doing so much work on behalf of the missing and unidentified.
It certainly does give us comfort that people care and give of their time to try and match up unidentified to missing loved ones. It's no small task, and you all are wonderful.
Thank you so much.

This WI Jane Doe had plaque on her teeth. It states she never had bottom teeth in life, so we can assume she had the top ones since there was plaque reported. Shirley got full dentures in 1945.
My mother was tiny boned and frail. She never weighed more than 130 lbs. I am 63" tall and...

Thank you Chaddylex

Thanks sweetie, and to all who have dedicated so much time here. It would be nice to have closure. Even better, to stand next to her resting place and feel her sweet spirit. She would be embarrassed by all the fuss, but I think she deserves no less. My mother was a genuinely kind and dear woman...
The injury to my mother's left leg was on the outside, below the knee. It is a significant gouge.

This is a photo of her in 1947. She was pregnant with me. :)

Hi...
My daughter is MorningStar and I am Shirley's daughter - the bride in the photo. My mother must have been wearing heels, because I am taller than her.
As for the photo of the deceased that someone sent MorningStar -- it's not of my mother. She was tiny and frail, had a long slender...
