With respect to why somebody might be willing to provide Terri with phone (s): Maybe if Terri was leading a 'secret life' (i.e., having relationships/engaging in activities she hid from Kaine), she may have had friends with similar 'secret lives' - friends who's secrets Terri kept to herself...
Assuming she's involved in Kyron's dissappearance and that obtaining the phone's are part of the plan (or the cover-up), the double bat-phone tactic is extremely clever (or diabolical).
Hopefully not 'too-little-too-late-uh-tin.'

I'm thinking Terri focused her effort on making it appear to those within the school (teachers, students, other parents, etc.) that she was leaving without Kyron, but her exit with him in the truck was designed to jibe with the doctor's appt scenerio. She probably instructed Kyron to meet her...

But why would Kaine use Kyron in his revenge plot rather than Baby K. Which child's disappearance would hurt TH more? I would think it'd be Baby K.
My guess is that Terri's long range plan was to collect Kaine's life insurance or perhaps an inheritance/trust fund upon his death. In order to make herself and her (and Kaine's) daughter the sole beneficiaries, she needed to get Kyron out of the way first. Perhaps her initial inquiries...
