It looks like Ruth has a living niece, I wonder if NAMUS or Delaware County has tried to get a DNA sample?

Australia Australia - Marion Barter, 51, missing after trip to UK, Jun 1997 #4

I think (based on nothing but my own opinion, lol) that Marion had met the Remakel person, whomever he may be, and thought the cover of a year long trip would be a good way to have a trial relationship without the possible judgement of others. If the marriage worked out, great; if not, change...

    Searching for Seka

I ran across this webpage for a "bio-energy healer" named Seka who was originally from Yugoslavia. I think she is probably too young to be the Seka that GB knew, but I'll send her a message if anyone else thinks its worth a try? Seka Nikolic - Bioenergy Healing, Bioenergy Healer, Bioenergy...

Germany Germany - Dirk Schiller, 3, Harz, 10 March 1979

Margot Honecker has passed away. Maybe Roberto Yanez will be willing to take a DNA test now? https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/margot-honecker-unrepentant-widow-of-east-germanys-last-leader-dies-at-89/2016/05/07/1cc1cc08-13de-11e6-8967-7ac733c56f12_story.html

George Sodder saw a picture of a young girl in a magazine that he believed was Betty

To satisfy my own curiosity, I purchased a copy of the Look magazine mentioned here. After seeing it I really believe the the ballet photo does not exist. I think it was most likely just mis-remembered. There is a photo of a group of young kids at an art class (mentioned earlier in this thread.)...

    NH NH - Maura Murray, 21, Haverhill, 9 Feb 2004 - #10

I actually agree that it appears Sharon put a spin on the situation. As I stated previously, I personally would not consider an email to be a note. IMO, Sharon probably thought the same and took the opportunity to say there was no note, knowing full well what was being referred to, yet choosing...

    NH NH - Maura Murray, 21, Haverhill, 9 Feb 2004 - #10

I always took the "There is no note" comment as trying to dispel the idea that Maura left a suicide note. A printed email is not a "note" in my mind.

OH OH - "The Red Shoe Mystery" - Lola Celli, 24, Grandview Heights, Feb 1946

I think that either Marilynpa or MaryLiz (posters on this forum,) have sat down with a detective and gone through the file. I can't remember which one it was, but you could look at their old posts.I would check with them to see they have knowledge of what you are looking for. I believe the...

Identified! Greece - LIVING 4 year old, with Roma couple, Oct'13 - #2

No, a child born in Greece inherits its parents' citizenship. The child is not Greek simply by being born in Greece. The US is pretty much the only place in the world that still does that. If her parents are Bulgarian, then she is Bulgarian- at least in the eyes of Greek law. I know the Roma...

Identified! Greece - LIVING 4 year old, with Roma couple, Oct'13 - #1

Have any other measurements been released for this child? I have a hard time believing that they now think she is 5 or 6 but only 100 cm (3 ft 3 in) and 17 kg (37 lbs). My daughter is 4 (5 in January) and 45" and about 52 lbs. She is a little tall compared to the other kids in her class, but not...
