Your right J.J. it could have nothing to do with his disappearance , to others it could hold the key to this mystery.

I wouldn't count on resemblance as I know for a fact that it doesn't work that way. I have a nephew that looks nothing like either parent and test prove they are, He does'nt resemble anyone else in the family either. I know when RG married Barbra and when the adopton was, I'm not saying it...

I was having some pc problems...grrrrr JJ, I was thinking on the line of maybe RG was Lara's real father and no one knew it except him that's all. As to your question, I haven't read anywhere that tells of any kind of foul play. I don't think he just walked away either, I think he ran...

Here's the thing , there is way to many things that look the same in both cases for me not to check every little thing with this guy.Whether it's relavent to you or not, it maybe to me. RG may be a victim he may not, anythings possible.I'm not going to give up on finding the answers to what...

That doesn't add up. Sure would like to see her birth certificate. Otherwise, she wasn't born yet when the adoption took place. Of course I'm probably wrong on the date. It could be a month or so difference.

I got a question, does anyone have info. on the adoption? Like say, the attorney or state? Or how long it took to get Lara?

While reading the book The Serial Killers Apprentice, short true crime stories I noted the dates. They could very well be wrong, thank you for letting me know if that's the case. It said in 1969 he married and work as assistant prosecutor for cuyahoga county,in 1978 he and Barbra adopted Lara,in...

I didn't mean to stir up anything here, I stumbled across this site while looking for info. on another unsolved 20 yr. old case out of Ohio. I'm not accusing anyone of anything either just looking to see if things may somehow connect. I found it surprising how the composite looks a lot like RG...

If they do know for sure that he took the laptop was it common practice for him not to take the case? If not then wouldn't that be saying he was in a very big hurry to get away? In a hurry so as to think that someone might steal his credit card number or look at pictures of his daughter? Doesn't...

Did his live in girlfriend see him take it out of the house that day? Did he tell her he took it in the phone call he made to her? If not then how do they know he is in fact the one that took it?

How about this, Are they absolutly sure he was the one that took it out of the house and he's the one that threw it in the river. Could it have been done before by someone else? Could it have been removed from his car by someone and they found their name on it and needed to get rid of it. Could...

How about this, Ray was the real father but Barbra wasn't the real mother. It looks like he was overly protective of Lara. Barbra not so much, from what I've read.

That's only a scenario, I have no idea what transpired with the adoption, it may very well be that it was all on the up and up. Just looking for answers. When people are desparate for a child they do tend to go to extremes. I have no idea if that came into play in their case or not.

I've got a few ideas as to why he took the laptop, one, so nobody would know what he was up to,two, he was emailing a person that may have been involved with him in a crime years before, three, he was watching what was being said on the net about that crime and needed to know how close they were...

What kind of setup did he and his first wife have when it got down to how to care for his adopted daughter should something happen to him? How did that change after they divorced? I guess what I'm getting at here is, if he put money away in a different name from let's say twenty yrs. ago...

Is it true that his first wife was with him when he disappeared and went to a ballgame in ohio without telling anyone? Did his first wife also take a lie dectector test with the questions asking her if she helped him go away, or did she know he was going to go away, or did she have any reason...
