This was not done by Alcala. It was done by another photographer and used to accompany an article in the LA Weekly. This is not associated with Alcala in any way other than the fact that it was used in that article which (I think) came out in 2014.
I believe this is a posed photo that Alcala took while the person (I think female) is very out of it and/or close to death. The face shows extreme distress to me, but the laxity in the face makes me believe that she was not completely conscious. I know he played with posing his victims and I...
The two boys I'm speaking of are posed photos of boys about 12-14. One is an ethnic looking boy inside Alcala's apartment and the other is a boy posing on his bike. I don't count any of the photos that appear to be taken in a public setting, like the child.

I don't see a legal reason that everything (that LE has been keeping a secret from the public) can't be released now. He's gone. Let us have a chance now to try to identify these people.
I have a strong feeling that more will be coming on this. Rather than his death shutting it down, I have hopes that things that we have been waiting for decades to come out, will.
I still believe that this case will be solved. The boys will grow up and hopefully talk. Jeremy and Deb could get divorced. A lot could happen. Things like this are not always solved immediately.
