UK UK - Corrie McKeague, 23, Bury St Edmunds, 24 September 2016 #18

I'm not sure the police know what they are doing. Corrie's mother who is a police officer has no faith in them either. As you cannot leave the horseshoe without being seen on cctv, then Corrie and his phone must have left in a vehicle. Corrie either got out along the route of his own accord...

:floorlaugh: LOL (if you yanks understand that, (LOL) Row K! (As Scooby would have said! LOl) :great: And also "tee hee" which is of course, the "British Stiff Upper Lip!" As for "Row K" - ask Peter schmeichel and the the pesky, meddling kids!" LOL

I always thoght CJ did it. But now? CAG? Why? He thought he was on a promise. Enough said.

LOL - you shrink as you get older as you wear your legs down over a number of years! We all will get a little shorter as we age. This takes place over many years, and ultimately we all lose an inch or so. Gravity is responsible for some of this height loss. You lose muscle and fat as you age...

I thought as well there could be a connection. People do shrink as they get older and he could have been wearing platform shoes in the 1970s.

Me too. I'm not convinced it is correct though as she bought the cider before the pizza.

Yes I thought that too. Toxicology results tend to take a while so perhaps the police don't have that info yet. The perp could have poured the contaminated drink away and replaced it waith fresh cider.

LOL, I'm female too (well I was the last time I looked). When I ended it with my husband, I got myself into the mindset by being cold towards him, creating a distance so it make the final act "easier." Sharing a meal from the same plate does not send out "cold" signals or create a...

Yes I saw that too and it got me thinking as well about LL. It seems he wasn't questioned about Glennis's murder but he was @ Clifton College.

Not sure on that - I wouldn't want to end things in a public place in case it did turn nasty - I hate scenes. I still don't think you would eat from the same plate as someone you are just about to dump. When you know you are going to end things with someone, you automatically become cold...

Jo and Greg shared cheesey chips when they met for lunch. If someone was planning to dump their partner or were not getting along with them to the extent it was soon going to be over, would they share (as in eat from the same plate) a meal with them? Especially if they are "cold" towards that...

Resignation accepted! LOL  Why put yourself in the position of being the murderer of your girlfriend when your girlfriend has killed herself? I'd rather air my dirty laundry to the police than risk spending life behind bars. If Jo had killed herself and Greg had left her there...

I think that will depend on how long ago they decided to host the Christmas Party. If it had been in October when they moved into the flat then yes - much more difficult to cancel the party and I can see them going ahead with it. But if deciding to host a party was a spur of the moment...

Interesting. I have always thought it was LL. But the emergence of CAG does cast a whole new light on this. I have to ask what his motives are for going to the press with his "I could have saved her life" story. Why not keep quiet? All he is doing is fact tarnishing Jo and making it...

Re: CAG I find Jo getting in contact with CAG after 18 mths - 2 years a bit odd on a night she would be home alone. Is it coincidence that the night she chooses to get in contact with someone she hasn't seen for such a long time is also the night she is murdered seemingly by someone she...

I think the rowing club scenario as stated by Slewth is very plausible. Another valid point Slewth makes is about the party invites - they would have gone out and had Jo's address on it therefore opening up Jo's home address to a whole variety of people - an infatuated admirer among them...

Possible but one major flaw for me: and: That suggests the murder was pre - meditated that Greg fully intended to kill her upon his return and therefore took precautions to hide his mobile phone signal, recruit an accomplice but you state he killed her on impulse. I also don't think...

True - people don't tend to walk around with large holdalls or suitacases but it would depend on how close the perp lived to Jo. The perp could also have used Jo's own suitcase and it's not been noticed missing. I'm not sure why Jo would scream by the front door unless the perp had a knife...

Regarding removing the body - thinking about the recent UK spy in the bag murder perhaps that's how Jo's body was removed from the flat unseen. She could have been put in a large holdall or a suitcase - they would need wheels and most these days have wheels. That way, no car would be...
