I know Raven's siblings are baptized Mormon but not all are practicing. His Mom never really gave me the impression that she followed the religion "by the book."
I agree. All of our pictures are of the kids. But if I had a website it would be pics of them alone, not just of them and me. I think it is wierd that all the pics on Ravens site were of him and Kaiden. It sends the message that He and Kaiden are the only ones in his world.
I think ravenstree disappeared because of the blog and the lack of Janet there. The fact that Janet is not a big part of the site is not normal. I know my kids are my world, but I wouldn't have them without my husband. I could never leave him out of anything like that.
Yes if she was wearing those things she wasn/t wearing her garmets but that does not mean that she was not a devoted member. She loved her religion and cherished her beliefs.
Unless I missed something it has never been confirmed that Raven did infact say anything about Janet committing suicide. As far as I know from her family he never said that.
Janet was a very committed member of the LDS church. Like all members of all churches they interpret rules differently and the LDS church does not condemn you if you wear sleeveless shirts after you have been endowed. I personally don't wear my temple garmets when I am exercising, playing...

I don't recall her saying what it would be used for but the way she was literally promoting the fun made me very uneasy. I got the impression that she was in controll of it.
I'm still trying to catch up on all the posts since I've been gone. I did notice a discussion about the memorial fund set up for Janet. As you know there were 2 services for Janet. Her Funeral service was in Buena Vista and the Memorial service was in Annandale. They were quite different...
Janet's older brother used to tease her and say he was sad when their mom said they were having another girl but was happy once he found out that she was more boy than girl. They used to play soccer in the back yard together and have so much fun.
Janet never played any sport she wasn't great...
Janet was such a boy! Ii guess that's why we worked. We both hated to dress up on Sunday. If it were up to us, we would be iin shorts and sandals and covered in dirt! She was very outgoing in sports. That was her comfort zone. Other than that she was a homebody. She like to spend time with her...
