I would imagine this was the or one of the reasons anyway that the m/s plea was rejected and they are going for murder charge.

Morning PolkSaladAnnie, Oh my goodness, do you no I hadnt realise we had both done that until you pointed it out !!!!!!!!! I absolutely do think that VT was already inside the flat when JY reached home, as I have said earlier he either thought she wouldnt be home until really late in eveing...

Indeed 'tis me I do post on other site too, well spotted PolkSaladAnnie !! Dont get as much time as I'd like to post but very interesting reading on both of these sites. I guess until October it will go quiet again on both, there has been a flurry of activity since last weeks events, as...

I agree goldielox and better being a 'grubby third rate detective' than a murderer!! If he can murder and then carry on as he did afterwards I wouldnt rule out the peeping tom theory at all, it seems in this case almost anything could be possible of VT.

Dont see how he can with all the planning that went into hiding body after the event, letting LL potentially take the rap, his interview with the Express etc. etc.

It could be that VT as has been said was already in JY's flat, method of entry as any of the above, and was taken by absolute surprise that JY came back early. As far as we know he knew that GR was away for weekend from CJ as he informed him he had helped start his car, maybe he was also aware...

Innocent until proven guilty I know, but I do tend to think they must have a huge amount of evidence against VT, not just that he is the neighbour and has/had a shadow pic on his fb profile but very incriminating evidence for him to be charged.

I agree, good for them!! What an absolutely evil betrayal of trust, in his occupation as a taxi driver it was/is precisely to ensure the safety of our young ones when coming home from a nightclub in the early hours. His work gave him the perfect opportunity to entice a beautiful young girl to...

What a tragic outcome for Sian and her family, this is even more so as we are told she knew this cab driver and his children, therefore, would have no hesitation in getting into his cab thinking she would be taken safely home. I have read that she only lived about half a mile from the club, so...

I agree, this would serve two purposes if the perp was indeed VT body removed from flat to imply the murder took place away from the premises and therefore take investigation away from the building and residents and body to be found when perp was away from the area.

Interesting post veggiefan, but surely if this were the case and they were looking to 'frame' someone, CJ would have fitted in with that profile better, lived alone, access to flat at anytime, new GR was away had helped him start car etc. I do feel it would have been easier to 'sew him up' if...

I am still trying to find the article, found this one which states he was arrested at 2am, but it was 6 or 7am I think so this is wrong aswell. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8276162/Jo-Yeates-did-not-know-Vincent-Tabak-says-her-father.html

Thats why I put (allegedly) as it was reported that CJ had seen VT around 7pm on the evening of the 17th and told him about helping GR to start his car for his journey to Sheffield. I read it in a newspaper, so it may not be true!
