Poor girl. And poor baby, what a dreadful way to begin your life. Why do people do this? Do they think people won't notice that they suddenly have a baby??
I agree, Fran. Those poor kids are going to have a lot to deal with, imagine knowing that your dad killed your mum, and told her he was thinking of what was best for you when he did it.... prayers and thoughts to them.
He was so drunk he fell asleep on top of the baby???? If he was drunk to the point of being insensible, what was he doing anywhere near the baby? Poor little thing :(. I am really starting to wonder if compulsary, basic parenting classes are needed!
This would have to be the most horrific thing I have ever heard. Those poor little kids. It terrifies me, seeing the awful, cruel things that are going on in the world...
That poor kid. At least he isn't suffering any more at the hands of these sickos. I don't understand what is wrong with people these days. How could anyone treat another person with such cruelty?:(
I hope the two younger children have the chance to start again in a family that will show them...
My husband is English, and he'd agreed with you entirely. Growing up in Essex, he had a school friend who was killed when she was only 17 by a perfect stranger who drive by and shot her, just because he felt like shooting someone. The guy was 17 as well. When he was at school one afternoon, some...
I did exactly the same tempus, and feel ashamed of it as well. I can't even begin to imagine being only 19 and dealing with something like this, and I admire Erin tremendously for her dedication to her son. I think sometimes we see so many cases where children are mistreated, that its the first...
Ashleys case always struck a chord with me, it's one of the reasons I came to WS. I'm glad she's finally been found, just wish it wasn't like this.
RIP Ashley :-(
I really wish I hadn't watched that... how awful.
I hope they are kept behind bars for long enough that they no longer find it amusing.:furious: :furious: Words fail me.
Eire, I totally agree with everything you've said here. I'm a teacher, and the number of kids with disabilities whose parents think it's an excuse for bad behaviour is amazing. I hear so often 'he only kicks/hits/bites/spits/steals because he has a disability and he's frustrated.' In most cases...
I agree that the students reactions intially weren't ideal, but I imagine it would be extremely upsetting to be given a zero for something you had worked hard on, and to be made to feel like your religious beliefs were not acceptable. IMO, art is about freedom of expression - I have seen many...
For amusement. I don't understand what is happening in the world. How could anyone, regardless of age or background, find any amusement in watching another person suffer horribly, and destroying the lives of their friends and families. I don't get what is happening to twist the minds of these...
Oooh this is frightening ... and yet when I look at some of the kids I teach, kids who think the rules don't apply to them and who have never heard the word no, it isn't such a far stretch to imagine it happening at my school. I don't understand how kids have come to be like this, and it truly...
I just don't get it... how could you think that this would solve anything? Do they think that they'll somehow get away with it and go on to live happily ever after? Or that maybe if they can give a good enough reason for doing it, it'll all just go away and they can get on with life? I don't...
What a . I hope the image of what he did stays etched on his brain permanently ... he won't be able to cover that up with a blanket so he can't see it any more
