I read that myself today. I am unsure as to why it was said about chairs and that they were found in the basement. I know the the girl who wrote that was at the crime scene and grew up with Lisa. She spoke with some of the local news stations.

I agree with you, especially if they knew about the box with the key in it. There would have been a vehicle there or is it possible the killer(s)were dropped off to be picked up later?
