I agree - and I would go as far to say it's completely inappropriate to disparage the defendant until he/she is found guilty.

Does anyone know if Nancy actually wanted to work? The extreme financial numbers of the separation agreement seem to indicate that she still wanted to be a full time stay-at-home mother and was looking for enough money from the estranged ex-husband to support such a goal.

Or another perspective - this was a "traditional" family where the husband focused on career while the wife stayed home to care for the children. Divorce turns both of those roles on their heads - and like what happened to me and thousands of other men - are forced (usually willing) to learn...

What would you do to prevent your estranged spouse from leaving the country with your kids? I think taking a passport is a very reasonable way of preventing that from happening.
