Found Deceased PA - Shevy McGiffin, 13, Clarion, 9 Sept 2016

Not sure if I'm even allowed to ask this, definitely slap my hand if not. The rules on here are scary sometimes for newbies. :) IFFFF by chance she did happen to be pregnant, would LE/ME be required to disclose that? Yes, there are other reasons her belly could be distended for other reasons...

    NY - Karina Vetrano, 30, found murdered, Queens, 2 Aug 2016 #1

Something about this case doesn't add up to me. Just a feeling of hinky-ness. Maybe just because the sheer randomness is too hard to process. Either way, I am so sorry for Karina, and hope she is resting peacefully.

    GUILTY GA - Natalie Henderson, 17, & Carter Davis, 17, murdered, 1 Aug 2016 #1

I'm still thinking drugs. And I am NOT judging them for it. I think she wanted some, didn't want to go alone, asked Carter to go with her, and they both paid the price. Seems that JH has a history of selling drugs, esp to High Schoolers (if what his friend said is true in the heavy.com...

    GUILTY GA - Natalie Henderson, 17, & Carter Davis, 17, murdered, 1 Aug 2016 #1

His Instagram feed is super weird. There are very recent pictures of him and his wife, but then lots of quotes about (seemingly) heartbreak or lost love or something. Just impossible to understand for those of us with sound minds. Tragic, to say the least.

    GUILTY GA - Natalie Henderson, 17, & Carter Davis, 17, murdered, 1 Aug 2016 #1

Why do the reporters continue to ask questions that he's already said he cannot answer!?! So frustrating. "Did he know them"? I can't speak to relationship or motive. "Were they involved?" "Did he stalk them"? "Did he lure them there"? HE CAN'T GIVE DETAILS ABOUT IT.

    GUILTY GA - Natalie Henderson, 17, & Carter Davis, 17, murdered, 1 Aug 2016 #1

Apparently a local news station released and then redacted a report saying they had gunshot wounds to the head. I imagine the initial report of 'severe head trauma' could in fact have meant trauma from gunshot wounds. If they are indeed gunshots, I think that puts Murder/Suicide or even...

    Found Deceased CO - Joseph Keller, 18, Antonito, 23 July 2015 - #2

So incredibly sad! I have also been following Joe's story from the beginning and I'm very sorry to hear this news. RIP Joe and condolences to his family and friends.

    GUILTY GA - Natalie Henderson, 17, & Carter Davis, 17, murdered, 1 Aug 2016 #1

This is a shocking story either way, but this area of Roswell is very much considered safe and upper middle class. They definitely seemed like "low risk victims", and I am baffled as to what the cause will turn out to be. There is, unfortunately, documented evidence of an increasing meth...

GUILTY FL - Dan Markel, 41, FSU law professor, Tallahassee, 18 July 2014 - #2 *Arrests*

I cannot wait to hear the details of the investigation - like 48 Hours or Dateline style. This seems like some impressively dogged determination on the part of the police. Very interested to hear how they pieced it all together. I hope we find out some day!

GUILTY FL - Dan Markel, 41, FSU law professor, Tallahassee, 18 July 2014 - #2 *Arrests*

OMG I have been fascinated/horrified by this case since the very beginning. I am SO relieved that they have made this significant of an advancement. Totally shocked at this turn of events. So very very sad.

I'm assuming everyone has seen this: http://www.localnews8.com/news/Former-DeOrr-Kunz-investigator-releases-letter-calling-parents-actions-suspicious/37668436 This is HUGE, IMHO. Sorry if I'm late to the party. My Google alert just sent this to me.

    Found Deceased TN - Noah Chamberlin, 2, Pinson, 14 Jan 2016 - #1

It's totally excruciating to have to sit here and wait for information. If anything like this ever happens near me, I'll absolutely go search. I wish them all strength, hope this baby boy is found safe!

This is virtually the exact scenario I have imagined the entire time. Wandered away, fell in the creek, knocked out, swept down the river, stuck somewhere or under something. He is there. They will find him. My heart breaks for everyone involved. IMVHO

Maybe they found internet searches for La Jara on his computer at home or something?

The only pertinent thing I heard was that they did, in fact, go there on Thursday July 9th. They have a receipt that confirmed they were at the store Friday (late morning?) when they said they were. The rest was useless info IMO. I am sure Sheriff Bowerman isn't used to so much "attention"...

(Bowerman said) "Even though it's been 5 weeks since DeOrr disappeared, he still believes the young boy will be found...." (snippet from the teaser video on FB) Nate said they are editing the interview and hope to have it posted within the next few hours.

Ok, I'm so sorry for this, but I am stuck at work and don't have time to read much. What are the details on "information we are expecting this afternoon"? TIA!!

I hate to say it, but my gut agrees with you. In my heart I feel that he's there, they just haven't found him. I believe I read that dogs had alerted at or near the retention pond more than once. I tend to believe dogs more than humans. (unless that's where the cremains were spread??) I just...

The boots could be very important, IMO. If they were on when he was supposedly being watched by the ggp (would love to know for sure), they'd have to be in the vicinity if he wandered off or was taken by an animal. Plus, if he was taken by an animal, wouldn't he have screamed? How far away...
