Not to make light of the situation, but I'd imagine she might've wanted to kill him for ruining everything. Then again, maybe she was implicated in his schemes.
Her disappearance seems open to several possibilities. I do wonder if husband and wife were both schemers (for lack of a better word). I figure we'll find out more soon.
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I don't see a direct quote. Did this reporter actually interview the husband? (I apologize if it's there and I just don't see it.)
X may have been talking to E. They heard some commotion on the third floor and wondered what it was. X listens for a few moments and tells him, "There's someone here." Is that possibly what happened?
You're correct. The focal point of this entire section is the room. Six references to the room in a span of five sentences. Had X been located anywhere but "the room," the witness IMO would've made it clear. And "also in the room..." clinches it.
I'm not so sure. From what I've read, LE had him under surveillance only for a few days. I think he'd already been in PA for a while before LE went looking for him.
"Law enforcement sources told CBS News that forensic analysis allegedly linked Kohberger to the crime scene in Idaho. Those...
Or maybe LE is wrong about the make, model, or year? It's happened before. That no image of the actual vehicle has been released makes me wonder what they're relying on for identification. Someone's recollection? If so, when? Days after the crime or weeks later?
Do we even know the time of death? I've seen references to 3-4 a.m. Is this official info released by LE? Surveillance video is sought for 3-6 a.m. So, that might indicate a less precise estimate of TOD.
No reason to think this is untrue. The killer, it seems, may be off the grid. He also may have carefully plotted this crime. Unfortunately, it could be awhile before something happens to break this case.
Should we assume the killer worried about walking past a second-floor room with a sleeping couple? His actions seem pretty bold and brazen, so ...? Then again, we don't know for sure where he entered, which floor he began his killings on, or even whether he planned to kill the two survivors...
