Do we know what hospital it was? Good Samaritan, Southside, Pilgrim State?

NY NY - Cynthia Constantine, 15, Oakdale, 11 July 1969

So I was discussing this case yesterday afternoon with a co-worker after I heard him mention that he lives in Oakdale. He actually went to school at the Middle School on Oakdale-Bohemia Road and spent a lot of time hanging out in the woods that Cynthia was last seen walking in to. He told me...

TIMELINE - Where was Alcala and when?

Do we know if Alcala made any trips out to Long Island during either of his stays in New York?

Long shot but I figured I would share it here. Rodney Alcala was in NYC during 1971 and 1977. Alcala is known to have traveled outside of the city for his "photo shoots". Alcala is also known to have strangled some of his victims. Like I wrote, it's a long shot but it might be something to look...

Found another... 8/16/65 - Gloria Williams - Recovered from the foot of Vanderbilt Ave in Idle Hour. Vanderbilt Ave is right inside my suspects area. It's right between his home and his place of business.

NY NY - Cynthia Constantine, 15, Oakdale, 11 July 1969

I've mentioned other people from Oakdale who went missing in the time leading up to Cynthia's disappearance. Here are a few that I've been able to dig out of my records; 6/29/61 - Unnamed "Missing Boy" 1/25/62 - Charles Luther, 15 - He was recovered, no record of what had happened to him...

I'm sure the dog made her feel safer, even today that plot of woods has an eerie energy about it even if it's a lot smaller now than it was when Cynthia went missing.

    Approaching property owners?

Sad to say but it seems by my experience that local LE doesn't care to put much focus on these cold cases. I will continue to keep that in mind though.

The new owner has no relation to the family.

    Approaching property owners?

I do have a company lined up and am aware of their past successes identifying anomalies. I am willing to pay for the initial scan out of pocket. Should the results come back that there is a soil disturbance in the suspected area I would then turn the information over to the local authorities and...

    Approaching property owners?

Good morning. I have been considering approaching the owner of a business in an attempt to gain access to their basement. The building this business is in once served at the storefront and home for the family of a girl who went missing. Within a year of her disappearance the detectives working...

The more I think about it the more questions come rolling in to my head. Things I grew to take as "fact" no longer make sense anymore. Cynthia taking her dog to "pick wild flowers" makes sense. We know though, through her family and the original police report that she didn't go to pick wild...

Another thing that I have long questioned is why did they use the pictures we've all seen? Surely her family had better photo's of her. The pictures that generally accompany the postings are similar to what you would see from a photo booth. Wouldn't she at least have had a recent school photo?

I did manage to come across one. I have cropped it out from the original image.

Ok. Something just occurred to me. The initial MP pages I came across for Cynthia stated that she went missing while picking wild flowers along the train tracks. Her brother knew right from the beginning where she went and why she went there. Even an eyewitness account from 3 boys stated that...

Yes. Her name was Patricia Costello. She was a 26 year old topless dancer from Brentwood. She was found at 6pm on June 1st 1986 by a horseback rider from the former Timberpoint Academy.

I wouldn't say that the area was known for either of these things however there were a number of abductions/missing persons (all but Cynthia Constantine were recovered) in the area leading up to when the Jane Doe was discovered. I have been up to this location many times out of curiosity...

NY NY - Robert Long, 62, Long Island, 21 Dec 2010

Robert J. Long – The Charley Project Robert has been missing since 12/21/10. He left home with enough money in his pocket to purchase what he went to the liquor store for. The investigating agencies scoured footage from the bridges and tunnels as well as the ferries for any sign of Robert or...
