I've been keeping up with the threads, but haven't posted in awhile, but CS's quote from the insert had me thinking all night... She references the last phone call at 12:16 in response to "speculation" in the case. So my feeling is that her goal is to clear something up that has been...

It has always been my understanding from all available sources that HT and other girlfriends were NOT at JR's that night, early or late. HT has said they stayed home and MSM has reported that as well. Pedro's Mom, where are you getting your information that HT was at JR's?

I'm gathering that is not a hypothetical question Tr.? You actually saw HT and AB on a "date" together? Seriously?! Did they seem like a couple? Were they being affectionate?

Ha! I'm sure you're right! Even following this story as closely as possible it is still sometimes difficult to keep track of sequence and who was with who where (in part bc we really know little.). Very easy to imagine newcomer insisting there must be video from 5north once those cameras are...

Pedro's mom, it's too hard to even "poke holes" in that story as Bloom54 points out, working with info we have, you have the sequence of events wrong, and very likely people involved in altercation wrong and time JW took roomate to class wrong. I also find it extremely difficult to believe that...

Thank you for the link. Although that blog is helpful in that it attempts to synthesize all the random scraps of info that exist in this case, it's not perfect and in many instances relies on unsubstantiated info. The dumpsters being emptied before 8am for example has never been confirmed yet...

And I have always thought noon bc a poster on pt who claimed to be the roomate that was driven said it was noon. I have seen the 8 am time on ws many times, but do not know where it comes from. Does anyone?

When I came home tonight and checked in here I thought the same thing. I think we're all tired! There's just so little information and it's just so sad. I think about her parents all the time and the nightmare of their reality- I hear from friends that they may never return here (to their...

Although it is noticeable in that clip how Salzman says (more than once IIRC) that the tape may be as meaningful for what it doesn't show as for what it does. He seems to be implying that there's a problem with JR's story IMO.

If he was JR's visitor then there were already at least some people that knew he was there. Sending one tweet, probably intended for friends who might have already known he had gone to Bloomington is not exactly an advertisement of identity.

One possibility is that DB is not the visitor that HT referred to. Another possibility is that it was DB, and that he was in fact at the Runcible Spoon at or near the time he sent the tweet and was solidifying that "alibi".

One of my children is almost the exact size of LS (he is the one who pointed this out to me when her description was first put out). He's a very slight guy, with very slim limbs, as LS appear to have been as well. I think you'd be surprised how compact a person that size can made to be, and how...

I agree it is very difficult/painful to imagine a "friend" being able to just discard LS. Which is another reason I feel the visitor was likely involved. He would not have known LS well, or possibly at all. Still disgusting that any person could do that to another, but as we know these things do...

I don't remember hearing it was the last day of finals, is that true? I thought it was the summer session and some kids had stayed to take classes (like LS) and some were just hanging out before they went home (like JR). I agree that during this time there was prob a continual flow of moving...

I know. But it was becoming increasingly strange on that board. I'm calling it a night. Went to a party tonight with a lot of young people (recent college grads) and many were wearing the purple "find Lauren" bracelets, nevertheless, it seems to be the parents that are still thinking and...

I kind of remember that. Have read so much I can't recall where! I think that poster's name was Ray something. I always thought I missed some other info about a sleeping bag though. Was there ever anything more than those cryptic posts?

LS was small, but I think carrying any body, even a 90lbs body, in a sleeping bag, would be cumbersome and awkward and might draw attention. 90lbs is light for a person, but not light to carry. Think about carrying your own luggage when you travel. Most people keep their bags under 50lbs so as...

I'm with you. I feel strongly that visitor plays a role. Why do you say sleeping bag though? I have seen sleeping bag mentioned before but I'm not sure where that idea comes from, can someone explain? I have some memory that in an earlier thread someone asked if any of the POIs was missing a...
