I wonder if someone lives in the house that they lived behind, and when the last time they saw Noel was?
As an aside, I am totally crushing on the sheriff.
What a twist! I can't help but think, though, that if DC had somehow spirited M away that she would have left herself while CP was in Michigan. What would be her reason to stick around?
ETA: since it seems that M was already gone when DC made the call to the relative about hiding them, I'm...
I agree. I think a lot of people see children as possessions; she may be trying to keep the child because it's her child. I tend to think that none of the children have been as important to her as her boyfriend, something we often see, sadly.
I'm really quite perplexed. They previously said that CC was seen at a bar in Middletown. So presumably she was there willingly? That plus the statement in the article that the disappearance was well planned out makes me think that she might be missing on her own volition. But that also...
I saw this article this morning. Note the caption under the photo - "Search underway for missing woman; police believe disappearance to be ‘well planned out." The article doesn't expand on the comment, but I think it's interesting nonetheless...
Gosh, he was handsome. He was found on my birthday. I mean, a few years earlier, but March 13. Just a couple days before his birthday, too. Rest well, Daniel. You've got your name back after all these years.

Obviously, we know it happens all the time, but it's still hard to think that a mother would either kill her own child, allow her husband to kill her child, and/or stay with the man who killed her child and have more children. It's more palatable to think that...
Re: Martha's story - I'm reading the Boy in the Box book, and the teenage boy who says he found Joseph's body but didn't report it said he found it on Sunday morning, if I recall correctly, but the good samaritan saw the woman/boy on a different day. Monday or Tuesday, I think. Of course, that...
I've been off for a while, so sorry if I'm blowing up the thread. The thing that sticks out to me is it seems that Joseph did live with his mother. But, it also seems like his mother was pretty close to her family. It seems unlikely that she could have successfully hidden a child from her...
I hadn't thought about Joseph being premature, but I think that's very possible. There's a possibility that Mary was a smoker, it wasn't considered bad then and it's known to cause prematurity. There's a possibility she didn't seek prenatal care, because she was a young woman pregnant with a...
I've read this, and while it's possible, IMO it's not likely. They were dumping a body. A body wrapped in a blanket looks much more suspicious than a body in a cardboard box, IMO. This place was a dumping ground, people hunted there, and it was within the line of sight of the girls' home...

This post from the Dock Ellis Foundation quotes Trotwood Police in saying they they don't know who was driving the car, but they know roughly...
