The victims:
Authorities did not release details of the killings or names of the victims Sunday but from interviews with families and friends the following were believed to have been killed:
- Jordann Murray, 18, the suspect's former longtime sweetheart who graduated from Crandon High...
Geez, you mean there are more of them? Now that is a frightening thought!
I am trying to follow this case closely but in the back of my mind I know what the outcome will be...no way will Avery be acquitted. I don't fault his defense attorneys to do the best job with what they are given but...
Hey mssheila - here's the info:
MADISON, Wis. -- More than 150 years after the death penalty was repealed in Wisconsin, voters statewide carved a wider opening for the state Legislature to usher capital punishment into the 21st century.
A referendum on Tuesday's ballot asked voters whether...
That is one thing this state has going for itself, judges are elected, not put into place for life. It's not just Evil Avery, there are so many horrendous crimes in this state and no death penalty, people have had enough. The amendment "to explore" bringing back the death penalty here passed...
Tell me when and where, I will be there!
At least the judge threw out the defense attorney's request for a mistrial...defense attorneys always try and they always fail.
I can understanding the kidnapping charge being dropped, she willingly went on his property, under false pretenses, but she went. They had a difficult time charging rape because there was not much left of her remains when found. Avery put her in a tire pit and burned her body for hours...
I know I sound mean and jaded but too bad he didn't succeed. It would save us WI tax payers money, he knows what he did and he has to meet his maker eventually.....
Great gossip by the way, I was speaking to a co-worker yesterday who lives 10 miles from the Avery Junkyard and consensus there...
Avery will not get away with it..he will be found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison...where he will get the best medical care in the state, access to a complete library, legal counsel, food, a bed and heat all on our tax dollars. Prison is not prison for the mentality of Avery...
Against Avery...I am in shock:

Just before potential jurors began to gather for Steven Avery's trial, a judge today dismissed two of the six charges filed against Avery in...
So much for him thanking the fine people of Wisconsin - namely me - for getting out of his house payment, paying for his kids and supporting his wife/ex-wife.
If he gets a retrial I am moving to Canada - ooohhh! I sound just like Alec Baldwin!
On eve of hunt, Vang appeals conviction
From prison, Chai Soua Vang has cast a shadow over another gun deer hunting season in Wisconsin.
On the eve of the 2006 hunt, the man serving life sentences for killing six hunters in Sawyer County nearly two years ago has challenged his conviction with...
You are most welcome!
They will be both be found guilty, sentenced to long prison terms and supported on my tax dollars....ain't America great...sarcasm intended....:furious:
The majority voted to bring back the death penalty....but as long as there is a Democrat as Governor it will never happen. Our current Governor won re-election and he said he would never allow the death penalty in Wisconsin.
Another three steps back....:banghead:
Good news:
CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Michigan (AP) -- A deer whose head was stuck in a plastic Halloween jack-o'-lantern for nearly a week has freed itself and will be fine, animal rescuers said Saturday.
Two children found a dented, hair-lined plastic pumpkin in their yard Friday night, and other...
Next Tuesday is election day and I am voting Yes to bring the death penalty back to Wisconsin...it won't save scum like Avery but it may make future criminals think long and hard about the needle in their arm......this week has been hard here......
al Qayda was responsible for the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 - and if they were all caught and punished, the bombing of the USS Cole and 9/11 would have never happened...if I recall correctly, 5 were arrested and 1 was convicted.
We all want to know the truth of what exactly...
Never mind that Bush had nine months to listen to the warnings of the Clinton Administration, who kept trying to tell Bush that al Qaeda was the #1 threat to this country.
And the Clinton Administration had seven years to stop it. The 1993 parking garage bombing of the World Trade Center...
