I haven't read that JD has an attorney anywhere, but PD and ED do have their own attorney. So far, all I can tell is that his good friend Heidi Tudela is speaking for him and advising him (on blogs, and his recent "interview" with the Waterville Sentinel).

I agree, at first I thought that HT was just naive, but the article made me wonder if she or a family member (like Derek) is involved with Ayla's disappearance. Why else would she put her family's reputation on the line and risk loss of business to their daycare and insurance company? I mean...

I think this was great of them to organize and keep Ayla's name in the news:) I can't understand why neither parent attended, though, that's a shame.

Just thinking about the blood found of Ayla's again, and it occurred to me that LE stated that Ayla met foul play in the house long before they must have know it was her blood (I'm just assuming here, as it would take a while to get the DNA results back). So I wonder if the saw much more blood...

I also don't think that the family would cover for CR if she did anything. People have also mentioned that CR might be jealous of Ayla as a possible motive to hurt her, but I wonder how do we really know that CR and JD had that much of a relationship? Other than it was said on TLLOM that CR...
