I just watched People Magazine’s episode on Karlie. IMO, the father and stepmom have nothing to do with her disappearance. My heart is broken for them. It sounds like LE sent some items for forensic testing and are hoping for results soon.
This case is really confounding.
I know I missed a couple of days so I hope this isn’t a duplicate!
I agree..to an extent. I don’t think she needs a long time in jail or a lengthy community service sentence or even a HUGE fine, BUT I want her to take personal responsibility for her actions. My concern with a financial...
Seems like it. I just can’t imagine what the Last two weeks have been for those who love CR. CR is ‘kidnapped’ and then returned safely. Before they can start enjoying her being back home, the internet explodes with comments and opinions about your family, daughter, and her situation. Then...

that’s an interesting statement. The parents were horrified by the accusation, not the fact she actually lied about the whole ordeal? Maybe I’m reading too much into it.
She NEEDS to pay the consequences for her choices. for her sake, I hope they are enough to teach her a lesson. Based on her actions thus far, I don’t think she’s ever had to take responsibility for her mistakes. IMO, she’s still refusing to accept responsibility - she let her lawyer do it...
i’ve Been in the (k-12) education filed for many, many years. Several years ago, I worked with this amazing school psych (she had her PhD) who was VERY interested in how social media and texting have negatively impacted the communication skills of older teens and young adults. She worked out...
I agree. based on her SM presence, she doesn’t give an appearance of being a caring individual, one who puts others before herself. I’m still stuck on the fact that it never even occurred to her that folks would find it strange she didn’t get out of her vehicle to help the (fictional) toddler...
Agreed. Her actions show incredible immaturity and extreme selfishness. All of this was done to get attention from someone……I wonder who? Details were carefully crafted to show her in a heroic light.
imo
I've been thinking a lot about this sweet couple. I'm wondering if Mr. D's head could have been removed to conceal DNA evidence? Maybe there was some sort of scuffle before the killing, and Mr. D was able to bite the person. Maybe the perp(s) are convicted felons, and their DNA is in the system.
There were many films on the full chart whose box office fell from the same day last week. The Dark Knight only has 5 days of totals for comparison, so they are comparing takes day by day. This will change once the Dark Knight moves into its second week. Although falling short of some folks'...
Most jails will restrain the spitter, not medicate them. They have what's known as a spit shield for those unruly prisoners. If someone is brought in to jail in the middle of the night, who would be available to prescrible medication?
She would have to provide a solid legal reason to do so. Simply stating that his actions disgust her, or she believes he's guilty isn't enough for a judge to dismiss her.
Conversely, if JH wanted another public defender assigned to his case, he would have to go before a judge and prove his...
I've looked and looked and could only find it quoted as "you have the right person." I've looked at over 20 sites. Do you have a link to the quote stating that she said 'man' and not 'person'?
TIA!
IMO the family hired an attorney to handle the multiple media requests, as well as help them navigate through this horrible situation.
What on earth could the mother be charged with? Even if she did 'know' her son was dangerous, what could she have done? There's not a whole lot parents can...
