Peter Brendt- I double checked the statistic about sadists and partners. I misread. It said 43% have a partner as in being married. My mistake!

That's a terrifying thought, why do they love long island so much? Why is LE saying its just one in LI? I live 10 mins from the Pine Barrens in NJ, they are desolate and rarely traveled through, I can't imagine the secrets those woods hold.

I had read about 2 more bodies found in LI in Feb and March. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/22/long-island-serial-killer-manorville-body-discovered-march-2012_n_1373150.html I havent seen on confirmation either way about these two.

I was referring just to the murders in LI, I dont believe the murders in AC are connected, just my opinion. From my understanding, the murders where dismemberment present were earlier in the last decade, correct? Like 2000-2005? So, theoretically, he could have stopped his dismembering (got to...

Thanks man, I appreciate your passing a long any info that you have, and take your time ofcourse. I apologize for the confusion. So, do you feel the LI murders are connected and represent the various stages of our sweethearts evolution?

I apologize if I am misinterpreting your post, but you're seeming to come off very condescending. I did not compare behavior analysis to math, the opposite actually, I defended myself again your claim that I am using "SK 101" and to state that I am well aware that gathered stats are very small...

As to why would some killers who are "narcissist" allow, and sometimes prefer a partner? Because, contrary to many beliefs, they are very aware of what is right, and what is wrong. They may not beable to feel guilt in some cases, but they do know what the difference is, especially the highly...

Yeah, I was just throwing that out there. The book was written in the early 90s from data college throughout the 70s and 80s (republished in 2006), and it only consists of the sample sizes used for its study. The book boldly and clearly states that the subject matter in this area is fluid. It...

Also, noone has answered my question about the latest bodies found in LI last month. Are they believed to be connected to the other killings? Anyone know their victimology? Also, in the event he is a sadist, I seem to remember that the data collected for the Crime Classification Manual showed...

I was in AC last night to check out the new casino, The Revel. Awesome place, very different from the other casinos (the only thing similar was that it took my money lol). I was going to go checkout the hotel where the AC victims were found, but it was pouring rain and cold. Plus, I dont think...

I think the LI killings show more of a relationship then the AC killings. The odds of two killers hunting in the same area, and who are of similar MO are very low.

    The Zodiac Killer...maybe?

I think hes very similar to the son of sam.

Were those bodies found last month related to this?

Interesting. From my understanding a killer from the sadistic variety spends an excessive amount of time with his victim which would require some sort of restraint, and evidence of torture. I.e. bruising on the wrists from handcuffs/straps, shallow cuts, mutilation but specific to sexual areas...

I wouldn't stand in court and say they arent the same killer. It is just my opinion, and like you said, I dont have all the information and I am not pretending to be any kind of expert. What led to the change of opinion? What has the FBI said? I trust them more then a detective, who has probably...

Thank you for the warm welcome. I'll give a little background on myseld. Over the last few years I have gotten really into criminal psychopathology, especially the behavioral characteristics of violent crime. It has become a hobby of mine. I am pushing my masters program, which is centered in...

Hello, I am new to the forum. I tried researching some case details, but, from what I have been reading on here, the details in the media are questionable. So I was hoping some of you could answer my questions. 1. How long did the killer spend with his victims? 2. Was there evidence of...
