On facebook page "Prayers for Linda Reed", her daughter states that Linda will appear in court on Monday, Dec. 17th. She said she hopes the case is dismissed or at least they will set bail so she can be home for Christmas.

I am from Copiah County too and it has me baffled!! The only thing I have heard is that there was no bond. If she has been back to court for anything else, I haven't heard it. This will probably drag on for months and months!

Maybe she used the money to pay the rent and utilities on the apartment she has had for over a year in Longview. I do think there is a lot more to this story than has come out in the media. I am glad she is alive, but I feel so sorry for her family having to deal with all this.

It said the landlord had bought the place a year ago and she was already a tenant. I just hope Lori Bess got the reward money the family had posted.
