This has probably been discussed before, but on ABC's telephone records, the Internet session that started at 06:31 on the 20th (and ran for 13hrs:46min - i.e. late into the evening of the 20th) originated at Fig Tree Pocket, not at Brookfield. While the phone may have been triangulated to out...
I'm favouring the idea of suffocation because of the lack of any obvious trauma - something bothers me though - if he did this on the couch/in bed, then must he have changed her clothes after the deed ? - unless she wears her "walking clothes" on an evening/in bed... no blood in bed or on the...
I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed/mentioned this - there appear to be some 'new' affidavits listed for the bail hearing:
http://apps.courts.qld.gov.au/esearching/FileDetails.aspx?Location=BRISB&Court=SUPRE&Filenumber=5260/12
I'm sure the affidavits of OW, IW, NBC and EBC were not...
Maybe. Cheapo USB car charger may not provide any ID information, - only +v and GND (which is all the phone needs to charge). Apple charger may be different...
That's right. My guess is that the body was placed there to look like a suicide (bridge jump, comments about depression in the media to support the notion). For (quick payout, which is what he needed) insurance purposes, the body would need to be found...
It's also possible that the results of the forensic analysis of the 'phone became available recently (i.e. later than the original investigations that suggested the 11:30pm - 4.30am timeframe) hence, those timeframes may not be quite as important as they were at the time - speculation only...
The interesting thing will be: is there evidence of calls or SMS to ABC or her friends? -- if I recall correctly, it was reported that he claimed to be frantically doing this at the time.
Let's not worry about the education point - many professionals involved in this case will indeed have university degrees. I'm sure that everyone is working hard, regardless of their formal qualifications.
Yes, you're right - and sorry, I didn't read your post properly. All parties had the autopsy report and it wasn't reported to reveal anything sinister.
Not sure, but I suspect there is no obligation to put ALL of their cards on the table for a bail hearing (it's not the main trial, where they do have to disclose). Note what was said about the blood... (i.e. the prosecution indicated that they didn't need to provide evidence that it was ABCs at...
There was no explanation given for the clearing of the court. As everyone left, OW stood in front of the public gallery (probably like the rest of us wondering what what going on). I don't think there was any big deal at all...
Regardless of what is presented by the defence team, I really wonder how likely it is that bail will be granted bail given that he has been under medical observation since incarceration? - if he isn't fit to move to a cell, he perhaps isn't fit to be at large...
