Australia - Frances Crawford 49, found dead after suspicious lawn mower accident in Queensland.

How could one man even have time to be communicating with so many other women? And really, what could be the point? Afghanistan? Poor Francis, sounds like she had a lot to put up with within her marraige!

CO - Angela Craig, 43, mother of 6, allegedly poisoned by cyanide in protein shake by dentist husband, Aurora, Mar 2023

Using the promise of costly dental treatment to try to get off the hook for the murder of his wife-dragging her name and reputation through the mud-is absolutely sickening

Australia - Brenda and Lynton Anderson, married, both 94, allegedly murdered a year apart, South Australia, 2022-2023 *daughter charged*

June 2026 sounds like a long way off! And 12-14 weeks sounds like a long trial for what appears to me to be a relatively simple, cut and dried sort of crimes. (Lucky I won't be on the jury, I know)

Australia Australia - Suzanne Armstrong, 28, Susan Bartlett, 27, Collingwood, Vic, 10 Jan 1977

This is one of those cases that I never thought would be solved. I feel incredibly relieved, and happy, that an arrest has taken place.

It will be interesting to find out who he is-was he known to the victims?-and what he has been up to for 47 years

Australia Australia - Suzanne Armstrong, 28, Susan Bartlett, 27, Collingwood, Vic, 10 Jan 1977

I just heard on the ABC radio news that there has been an arrest made in this case, at the airport in Rome on Thursday night, has anyone heard any details?

FL - FSU Law Professor Dan Markel Murdered by Hitmen *4 Guilty* #24

If the judge or prosecution has objected early to DR staying on as lead defence, could they have forced his removal, even over DA's objections?

FL - FSU Law Professor Dan Markel Murdered by Hitmen *4 Guilty* #24

I simply can't believe that the defence team would have been involved in planning this. It makes them look incompetent and stupid. Their reputations must matter to them. I know it's commonly seen as a benefit to a criminal defence to delay trial as long as possible, but the actual benefits of...

FL - FSU Law Professor Dan Markel Murdered by Hitmen *4 Guilty* #24

How very frustrating! With hindsight though, it's not completely unexpected that this family would manage to throw some sort of legal spanner in the works to disrupt the trial. That's how they are, what they do. I hope DA's bill for the disruption is huge!

FL - FSU Law Professor Dan Markel Murdered by Hitmen *4 Guilty* #24

@amicuscurie -do you really think that both WA and HA will be arrested, tried, and sentenced in the next year, (or so)? That would be my hope, but I can't really believe it! (Hope I'm wrong!)

FL - FSU Law Professor Dan Markel Murdered by Hitmen *4 Guilty* #23

When was it that HA was meant to have lost all his money in a ponzi scheme? The dental community has been rocked by massive losses in another ponzi scheme. A group called Freedom Founders promoted themselves as an educational community for dentists, to learn from trusted and well vetted...

FL - FSU Law Professor Dan Markel Murdered by Hitmen *4 Guilty* #23

I wonder what the Robert Adelson's emails contain? Thank goodness DA went for a speedy trial, I think I would burst if I had to wait any longer!

I think you are right. In dentistry though, bridges don't get repaired. (A broken bridge is replaced)

FL - FSU Law Professor Dan Markel Murdered by Hitmen *4 Guilty* #23

I'm getting really excited about DA's upcoming trial! I'm really interested to hear about any digital evidence collected by LE, and I'm fascinated to see how DA will behave at the trial. Of course, I'm also excited about the prospect of further arrests, perhaps soon after the trial. It's been a...

    AL AL - Brittney Wood, 19, Mobile, 31 May 2012 - #14

The media painted her in the worst possible light back then. I thought she was part of the "family sex ring". The Monster in The Shadows is really worthwhile watching. Chessie might not have been a perfect mother, (who is), but she is very different to the woman painted by the media, (and also...

I've now watched the documentary. I believe I really got Chessie wrong!

GUILTY NY - Ex-President Donald Trump, charged with 34 criminal counts of falsifying business records, Apr 2023, Trial 25 Mar 2024 #4

If so, it won't be very effective. Trump reports, (if you give him any credibility), that he has had record breaking donations since the conviction. If the conviction is going to be used as a campaign tool, it might not be by Biden. I think the charges, trial and verdict are right.

Australia - Russell Hill & Carol Clay Murdered While Camping - Wonnangatta Valley, 2020 #7

I think that these are meant to be from Carol's shooting. She was shot in the head. The brain is made up of 60% fat. Urgh, I know

GUILTY TRIAL OF CHAD DAYBELL CHARGED WITH MURDER OF JJ VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN AND TAMMY DAYBELL #7

I made a donation to the Tammy Daybell Foundation today. Apparently it received a large number of donations after the verdict. Whilst Chad and Lori rot away in their cells, Tammy's positive influence will help improve lives. A small comfort.

GUILTY TRIAL OF CHAD DAYBELL CHARGED WITH MURDER OF JJ VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN AND TAMMY DAYBELL #7

Soon Chad will be a convicted murderer, fighting for his own life. I was upset with Garth and Emma's testifying, surely Tammy deserved better? (Of course she did) Now I just feel sad for them, they have to go out and get on with their own lives, missing their Mum, their Dad a convicted murderer...
