By the way, private cemetery headed towards oakdale, these two are what I'd put my money on. Very tucked away old cemeteries with no town between it and oakdale.

Just for an example, guys, you guys will not be able to find this cemetery if it is the size I'm thinking just by looking on google maps. A lot of these cemeteries don't even have addresses. Here are some examples of cemeteries without addresses in Evangeline parish on Hw 10...

This is Louisiana. There are a ton of old cemeteries everywhere. Seriously, some are just out in the woods without gates or anything. Even private cemeteries are often owned by, say, an elderly man or some land manager that never even goes out to see the cemetery, some are held in the family for...

Highway 10 to oakdale would have been BSL's route to get to Fort Polk. He knew this highway VERY well I'd imagine.

Now what would NOT surprise me, is if they find someone elses body under that house.

I'd be shocked if they find the body at his house when the bike was thrown in whiskey bay.

Its because NOT everything is trackable. But I bet his onstar system in his chevy was. ;)

Whatever you do, go there during the day. You'll only get creeped out at night. A lot of people fish there during the day though. Go ahead. Its about a 30 minute drive west on I-10, if you want to get a good feel for the area.

They may have known for a long time and were gathering evidence.

Out of curiousity, I'm betting I'm not the first to make note of this... But in the original images of the truck in question, there were TWO pictures of the truck on the same road. One going oposite MS's direction, and then a picture moments later of the truck going in the same direction...

I'm willing to bet the body was dumped at the same place as the bike. It makes too much sense. Gators, swift current, and a pretty historic place for the dumping of bodies, makes it likely the body will never be recovered. That basin is HUGE, and it just gets bigger the further south you go. The...

I would absolutely love to know what dealership this was... Both to boost their business for reporting this (a lot of dealerships are shady and wouldn't even report it), and to see if it was the one where I potentially sold his father a car at.

If it was 5/21, then yeah... all comited within 48 hours. If Mickey was still alive, I'd be willing to bet Whiskey Bay was where any crime, including murder, actually happened. Its a dark place that nobody exits on at night, and is nothing but 60 miles of swamp. He could have parked that truck...

Good map, although we cant be sure that he went straight from Site A to Site B. He may have spent quite some time at his home. I'm hoping he did, that way Mickey's DNA might be there. However, regardless of if he did or not, its a very logical route for him to take. It brings him through...

Yup, thats exactly the Route that I was talking about in my previous reply. When did he report the truck stolen? Same night? If it was later, then he did not go straight to Texas, I doubt. He may have had evidence at his home for quite a while.

Everyone between Lake Charles and New Orleans knows about Whiskey Bay. The Houston thing throws me off though. Here's the deal... MS was picked up, then the guy probably headed to I10. They believe the bike was left in the bay the same night, so it is very possible that he comited the...

Mickey Shunick - Press Conference, 6 July 2012

Interesting peices of new information... They know his truck was at Whiskey bay A possible bite mark on his hand? Truck matches the one seen in the video They probably know but "are not releasing" how he got back to Louisiana And... No body. They are doing the murder charge based on lack of a...
