Found Deceased WY - Gabrielle ‘Gabby’ Petito, 22, Grand Teton National Park, 25 Aug 2021 #13

My step-daughter was a pharmacy tech for a few years and she had no post high school education. She was trained on the job and certified with her state. I think that's actually how it is a lot of places.

Just throwing this one out there, what if he did leave the parent's house last night (as some neighbors believe they saw), but the parent's didn't know he had come and gone? Like, hiding out in a garage, shed, backyard, etc... With all the noise going on around their property from press and...

AMBER ALERT WI - Jayme Closs, 13, Barron, missing after parents found shot to death, 15 Oct 2018 *endangered* #4

I'm in the Twin Cities, about 90 minutes from Barron. We've traveled to that county many times over the years and want to share a bit of perspective... This area of Wisconsin from Turtle lake, Rice Lake (including Barron), all up through Hayward and to the north and east is very touristy. More...

I wondered about that too. I live in different suburb and our city would fine us like crazy if we allowed our property to look like that.

IIRC they went to the lake because TB had said for the family to check the lake and when they got their someone (I think MCM) asked people at the lake about the girls and a man told her that he'd seen them. I imagine if they had cellphones on them they called LE and relayed that to them...

That is correct. Here is a link just in case anyone wants more (since this group loves proof lol) http://www.dmv.org/ia-iowa/safety-laws.php Not only does Iowa have no bike or motorcycle helmet law, I have seen more people without helmets than with (for either). I think if helmets were...

Nah there isn't any bike helmet law and even if there were, I have never ever seen such a thing enforced (in fact I rarely saw anyone over 6 wearing them)

I imagine she playing around her home and someone snapped a pic. I can't imagine that they'd have dreamed at the time that she'd end up on national news.

I don't think the NCO included Lyric. My understanding has always been that it was just for MCM. That said, she may have started off calling him simply to ask "What did you say to her??" Or it could be as simple as, because he is the child's father. I realize he has a past that includes...

To help out the families. They took off quite a bit of time from work during all of this (understandably so). This past month has to have been pretty expensive and you're talking about two families (plus grandparents etc). Heather and Drew have been at the state fair, having a presence trying to...

It is hard to see a little one in need of help and not help. Years ago we were at Mall of America in the amusement park area. I noticed a little girl (looked to be about 2 or 3), wandering around and there didn't seem to be anyone with her. I got a bad feeling about it..I can't explain what...

Agreed...there should be caution not to cross the thin line. Don't want to cross the mods. What we really need is...something fresh to look at, discuss, etc! Come on LE...give us something already!

I absolutely couldn't agree more! I can not count how many times I have handled the most stressful situation (where others around me are freaking out) and managed to stay very still and calm. I think it must run in my family though. When my grandfather was in the hospital dying (they had just...

ugh! We ran in this with one of our kiddos ADHD meds (probably same one). Thank goodness we live in a large metro so there are more pharmacies to harass. (sorry for the OT)

Not being the person in the situation it is easy to say "I would do this ...". I know that I have found myself in a few situations and surprised myself in how I handled things because I ended up handling them differently than I would have expected until being in the situation. I think that...
