Missing man’s car was apparently hidden in garage of a vulnerable adult
Folks, I just want to encourage you that this huge clue came as a result of a person who cares about the missing enough to give of their time, think hard and help dig.
One person like you decided to run a CarFax report on the plate at just the right moment.
Had they run it a couple of weeks...
On pg. 47 of the 2016 document, there is a list of three firearms taken in the search. I find it notable that first pistol - a S&W 9mm - is noted as having had "Two (2) FC 9mm Luger Rounds in magazine were not counted (due to DNA)." On the other hand, with the .22 caliber pistol they counted the...
If you wouldn't mind to clarify - are you saying the stalks are coming out of the ground 2 inches apart for three rows? Or the leaves from the plants planted 15" apart are almost touching? Haven't ever seen corn planted on top of each other like that unless the planter made a turn or something...
Since there has been so much speculation and criticism of the mention of a comment by the accused to a counselor, this stood out to me in yesterday's Blade article:
(BBM)
This comment WAS reported it seems - likely many years ago - that's why we know about it now.
This was posted on Facebook - cited as having been released by the family: "Daryl was last seen by his family at 8am Saturday. He left his house wearing his Security guard uniform from work at Campbells Soup. He was seen on surveillance at the bank withdrawing money. He was seen Saturday around...
I know the reasons why this is getting much-deserved attention, but I feel really bad for the family of the other person who has been missing for a week over on the other side of the county.
Hardly any news coverage or attention of any kind...
I feel really bad for this family. Mr. Jones' case isn't even being given a fraction of the attention the other NW OH case has been. He has been missing now for four days.
You all have been helpful. You ask good questions and help us think through things.
I think the hardest thing about knowing what to share is knowing this is public - the suspect/s can access all of this and read everything we are saying and adjust their tactics accordingly. Much of what Eric's...
No, but it's unlikely any salvage yard that took a car without having the title signed off - a crime in Michigan - would admit to having the car. We know the title wasn't signed off because it was titled to Eric's mom.
Just a bit of clarification - BV police told us Eric's phone went dark for three weeks around the time we stopped hearing from him in March 2011. Then the some calls made were to salvage yards... Then it went dark again for good.
Hopefully some of you saw this news report by ABC 12's Terry Camp last week - http://www.abc12.com/story/25081701/no-sign-of-eric-franks-missing-for-more-than-3-years
We are not in the habit of checking this website regularly, but whomever told you that the family is not cooperating in the investigation was entirely wrong - it could be more accurately stated that the Buena Vista Police Department is no longer cooperating with OUR investigation.
With any...
After much pressure applied, up to and including calls to the Attorney General's office, we have finally received word that the case is being turned over to the MSP. They said getting fully up to speed on the case might take a week or two.
Right - we've contacted MSP and they say they can't just move in and take over a case - the request has to come from the law enforcement agency that needs help.
Honestly, with the strange occurrences of late, it has crossed our minds.
We're not going to quit!
Yes, he knew. When we first started calling looking for Eric, he talked to a family member and discussed Eric. Also said he was outside their house. But according to BVPD his story now is different.
And no, we agree neither one can be trusted.
