Australia Australia - Claremont SK, 1996-97, Perth, WA - #13

I'm a month behind here, but just in case nobody else has pointed you in this direction, there was a former user here a couple of years back who was into these matrices...

<modsnip> There have been very wild ideas posted here ever since the topic was first posted - some creepy/weird and some just very implausible. You've (not you specifically PainExpress) got to learn to skim over the ones you don't give any credence to (or yes, use the ignore feature if it...

Ah yes I recall that being a big issue too. But would that tie in with the blockout on his images as well?

I've also wanted to ask others this for a while now - do the subjudice rules differ from state to state here in Australia?? I'm asking because I've been surprised that so many photos of BRE have been posted here since his arrest, in comparison with say the Jill Meagher case, where as soon as he...

I spend a lot of time here catching up so don't get to post in a timely manner most of the time. I just wanted to hark back to the CCTV images of the guy in the vest and the one glancing out the door momentarily. I don't think they are the same person at all - while they both have their sleeves...

People don't become serial killers or rapists because of the amount of sex they can readily access at home.

People are just replying as they read through the posts - they don't know it's already been discussed and sorted.

I think those frames are just from when the different camera's were picking up the footage from other angles and positions around the hotel. I believe only one recorded at a time - so there is no continuous footage from any one particular camera - they rotated at regular intervals. I'm thinking...

I think calling it a satchel is what's confusing people. A satchel is usually a larger rectangular bag - like a postman's satchel or school satchel (both things from back in the day for some of us ...) The police officer was pointing out distinctive items that the women were wearing or carrying...

And the dark blue top shown above illustrates how deceptive and out of whack the CCTV footage is (with regard to dark/light coloured clothing)

That footage was included in the Australian Story episode - but I don't believe they said it was CCTV footage. I think it is just film shared by family or friends from a wedding or similar.

I'd like to thank all the new Perth locals who've joined the discussion lately - while there have always been a few locals posting here, it's great to get some more insight from other Perthites who are making connections since the charges were laid.

Hey Skyza - when you log in make sure you tick the little box under your details (it's something like 'remember me' or 'keep me logged in' - I'm too lazy to log out to find out though!) That stops you getting signed out all the time.

I don't believe that there is any link between the two men, but just as an aside - Adrian Bayley apparently did spend some time in Perth years ago. This was revealed in the Jill Meagher threads at some point, and of course folks started wondering back then about a possible CSK connection. Timing...

You don't have anything to apologise for Klutch - rehashing things over and over with different posters is how Websleuths works. And it certainly isn't complusory for newcomers to have read every previous post in every thread - especially in a case that has gone on for years. I have read all...

I thought so too - the DNA on CG and the kimono were a match.

Remember on the CIA doco they did say that everyone else was accounted for and identified - except for MM. That being said I've always wondered about the doorway guy too. I've also had a sneaking suspicion that perhaps the CCT video release on CIA may have been a bit of baiting on the part of...

Not that it seems important, but I think that perhaps the E in EC is a substitute for an actual name - maybe to protect someone's privacy slightly? Why else would it be impossible to find a single entry in a google search for anyone with that first name? The particular combination of letters...
