Found Deceased Shanann Watts (34) and daughters Celeste"Cece" (3) and Bella (4), Frederick, 13 Aug 2018 *Arrest*

I have a child (well, now she is 18yo..adult!) and we learned of her peanut allergy when she was 18 mos old. We NEVER left the house without her epipen. Just never. If I ever were in a situation where I was fleeing and trying to hide out, we still would have taken the epipen. It was always with...

I have a 17yo and a 15yo dd. I can guarantee, without any hesitation, if they saw a man exposing himself, they'd be afraid. We've just not raised them in a way that they have ever seen anything like that. They have younger brothers so they have seen male 'parts' but to see a grown man showing...

Found Deceased CO - Kiaya Campbell, 10, Thornton, 7 June 2017 *Arrest*

I think my, and everyone else's, hinky meters went off with the story that they were separated in the sudden rain storm at 7:30pm. I remember the rain well that night. I was running around in my backyard trying to find one of my son's baseball gloves with thunder and lightning going off right...

Amount of locals is surprising me also :) I don't post much but have read on this site for many, many years. I finally took the time to join for Jessica Ridgeway but I don't remember very many locals for her case. Seemed like just a few of us where as there seems to be a lot more now. It's great...

Another local here...the storms did not roll in until much later last night and while there was lightning going on, it was nothing that would cause you to run separate ways and take cover, IMO. Such a sad end to this situation. I pray we get answers soon.

My 14yo never wants to wear a coat unless it is sub-zero. She fixes her hair no matter where she is going. We do not allow make-up yet but if we did, she'd be wearing that too. I think for what was supposed to be a 2-2 1/2 hour outing in the warm winter sunshine and planning on pics taken, this...

As a mom of a 14yo dd, I don't find Abby's attire strange at all. My dd, who is 14yo (also a 16yo dd), would totally dress this way to go out with a friend for the day...even hiking...and especially if she thought pics might be taken and posted on Instagram or snapchat. Very normal looking dress...

I am pretty sure this was discussed in a previous thread and I agree, it seems to be a handgun in the right coat pocket.

I found this site because of the Rebecca Zahau case but joined because of Jessica Ridgeway (local to me). My 10yo dd at the time looked an awful lot like Jessica and before her body was found, police were looking everywhere for her...we had people eyeing my dd everywhere we went because she...

The Denver Post showed a picture of kids trick or treating at the Denver police station (I think, already threw my paper away). They apparently hold an event every year but it sounded like a decent turn out last night. I really think people just chose to attend organized events rather than...

I know a lot of shopping centers, rec centers, churches were having events also to try to make people feel safer and my guess is that many took advantage of those events. Just guessing though. I really don't know only that there were lots less than previous years.

Very, very light in Littleton also. Despite having some of the nicest weather I remember in awhile on Halloween.

I put the address of AS home into google maps and I think the pool is in that back corner behind the neighbor's shed. That yard is a lot bigger than I thought it was...or at least it extends over pretty far. ETA...

Oh no, go to bed! There is always time to find it later. I've not seen a pic yet that shows the pool but I saw a pool listed on the property details that Otto (I think) posted so I think there must be one. No worries! Thanks for trying to find the pic.

Could be but I just can't make out a pool. If there is one tucked back there, it must be on the smaller side.

I agree that some of the attempted abductions listed are no where close to Westminter, Arvada or the Denver-metro area. I do know that Jeffco schools sent home letters to the parents of several elementary schools, including Witt, about the two attempted abductions in Arvada that occurred in...

Calling their swimming pool a rare feature makes me think it's an in-the-ground pool because those are indeed rare but I do not see a pool in their backyard :waitasec:

Hmm, that is interesting. Pools are pretty rare here so I don't know anyone who has one. Our summer season is fairly short and there isn't enough time to swim to justify the expense of a pool. Has there been a pic showing if the pool was above ground or in the ground?
