That was my thought on how he saw the clothes also. I know when I'm out with my zoom lens, I use it to just look far off also.

From a photographer, I can tell you those blurred areas are just branches that were closer to the photographer than what he was focusing on. It's an a larger aperture setting...it's how a lot of photogs take great animal shots through fences at zoos. It blurs out the fence in front a lot.

Ditto this. I don't know why it didn't ever dawn on me that maybe they tried to run....but after I watched that video and started thinking, I thought...ya know? If Liberty was smart enough to start recording on her phone if something felt hinky and not right, why wouldn't they have tried to run...

The more photos I see of the bridge and the shape it's in and the area, the more I think something like that could be possible and I was just thinking that myself this morning. I know as a young teenager of a couple times a friend and I saw a "creeper guy" or someone that raised our fear from...

^^ This is similar to what I've wondered as I've been reading through the threads (infrequent poster...frequent lurker!). I've had the scenario in mind that he imo saw that she obviously had a phone and he took it from her, however she already had the phone recording or hit it to make it...

Jodi Arias TAKES THE STAND #32 *may contain graphic and adult content*

Excuse me while I say something with total sarcasm. What kind or horrible man would wake a woman up by pleasuring her!? I mean....that is terrible. I would definitely do something bad to some cute man I was attracted to and drove to visit who did that to me!! *eyeroll* Obviously, not...

After listening to all that, to me that had to be for blackmail. Maybe she was trying to blackmail him into marrying her...something about that whole thing seemed totally put on in that matter. Maybe at this point she wasn't planning on killing him yet...she just was grasping at straws to keep...

I've been lurking on this thread for months now (I don't jump in really because I feel you guys are all so smart, I don't usually have anything of value to add....so I just sit back and try to soak in the wisdom. ;) ) and watching the trial etc...and of COURSE they'll play those today and it'll...

I haven't posted much, just followed because I generally feel I have nothing of value to add - can't keep up with all you guys! :) I was just thinking to myself about all the area up above and around Vallecito. My Dad and I spent a lot of time up there, driving above the lake, etc. I...

Been in and out lately and it's been hard to keep up with all the Dylan threads, but interesting to see the photos released tonight. Makes me wonder. I mean, if they'd gotten those shots before which it seems to me like they had to have had, I wonder why they're releasing them now? This...

Well put. Just because he's not reacting to this the way other people think he should be, doesn't mean anything. Everyone deals in their own way. Heck, I think if my Dad had ever been put in this situation and got to this point, I could have seen him breaking down and shutting down because he...

Well, it used to be that a couple of the lumber places, the local Co-Op, several of the popular breakfast joints were open. Now with the bigger things there, like Home Depot - it's open at 6am. So there are definitely things open, that's all I was getting at. :) And like I said, if he left at...

Like I said, I don't know...just tossing around thoughts really. I know when my Mother moved away from the area after my parents divorce, it didn't dim the cliquey-ness of her friends left there towards my Dad or anyone he knew and when she came back into town, it was like nothing had changed...

That and a lot of the further out areas like that there, they pretty much have the option last I knew of no internet or really bad dial up! The last place my Dad and I were living outside Durango, we were only about 6 miles out and until 2006, we still had Dial up only. It was like some...

I know a lot of things used to be open around there by 6:30am in Durango and Bayfield, personally. And also, either way he could have went to go into town, assuming errands had to be run in Durango, which is usually the "norm" in the area since that's the "big town", it maybe only a 20-some mile...

I think IF he went fishing, it'd just chalk up to where he wanted to fish. I mean, having fished in that lake, I know you get different fish in different areas and we used to fish the dam a lot because depending on the time of day we never got anything in the river or inlets. I'd say him growing...

Yeah, I grew up in Bayfield (I'm 28 now) and we hitchhiked a fair amount growing up because if we were out at one friends house and it was 5 miles from town and we decided we wanted to go to the water hole or whatever, we'd just hitch wherever. I'd say 80% of the parents KNEW we were doing it...

Haha, Exactly! I can honestly say, growing up in Colorado, and most of my life in the Bayfield/Durango area until a few years ago, I've seen people in shorts EVERY month of the year. Heck, they'll wear the hiking sandals until the snow is above ankle deep. It's been so unseasonably warm also...

This is by no means awesome, but quick before I head out the door. Point A is roughly the address given for Dad, or all least the calls to Dad. It's a bit north of the address. The road going down the left side of the lake and then half circling around is CR 501 and the offshoot of it that goes...

I just looked up the address they gave for calling the Dad, and ya know...he's clear on the other side of the lake....most of the heavy tourists at this time of year have cleared out of Vallecito because you're between the fall colors and ski season. So mostly everyone up there is going to be...
