Australia Samantha Murphy, 51, last seen leaving her property to go for a run in the Canadian State Forest, Ballarat 100km NW of Melbourne, 4 Feb 2024 #6

That would be quite the development. Pretty mammoth call to charge someone with murder without sufficient proof. It's a long time for speculation though until the next court date, do folks think we will hear more from VICPOL before then or are they likely to remain tight lipped?

There's no middle name on the SOCIT related and it's in a different area (albeit same state)... I don't think they can be deemed related unless further links are drawn to the accused.

Found Deceased Australia - Jesse Baird, 26, TV presenter and partner Luke Davies, 29. blood located at home, 23 Feb 2024 *arrest*

I count at least 7 dams on that road, I wonder if phone tracking led them there? Is there a chance the perp has decided to reveal information at this stage?

It feels like they're close now, but then again I felt the same when the press releases disappeared from VICPOL website and that turned out to be nothing.

Found Deceased Australia - Stephanie Scott, 26, Leeton, NSW, 5 April 2015 - #2 *Arrests*

From here on in is it likely we won't hear much more about what happened until this reaches the courts, or in the past have post mortem conclusions been released to the public when they become available? I wonder if the police might be keeping things quiet so that there's no possible issues...

Yeah that's one thing, but this is genuinely quite offensive IMO > http://www.pedestrian.tv/news/arts-and-culture/courier-mail-runs-bride-and-seek-front-page-as-man/d61257c7-359f-4eeb-81be-e56ae6f0df2d.htm

Found Deceased Australia - Stephanie Scott, 26, Leeton, NSW, 5 April 2015 - #1 *Arrests*

The police Superintendent did mention a few times that they were prioritising lines of enquiry. I'm speculating, but I wonder if there was a reported sighting from a member of the public in that area and then when they mentioned it (possibly along with other leads) to the accused's family, they...

Found Deceased Australia - Stephanie Scott, 26, Leeton, NSW, 5 April 2015 - #1 *Arrests*

If the car was in his garage from Sunday until the early hours of Wednesday morning, when he moved it, the timeline makes enough sense I think? What you say about her body being in the vehicle when he dumped the laptop makes perfect sense but somehow makes it seem even more horrible. That...
