Unless, for whatever reason, certainly not one I can riddle out, that information is vital to building the case. LE doesn't have to give evidence to the media, same as they're not releasing the cause of death.

LE DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A CAB INVOLVED UNTIL THE SECOND OF JANUARY 24 hours after NP was found. I feel like I'm going crazy here.

I couldn't tell you. I hadn't heard about that or read that.

She was found by the time the police got the information from the cab driver on the 2nd OF JANUARY. <modsnip> They hadn't been searching for her for over 24 hours by the time the cab driver gave that information to the police. He had no idea that this woman who had been in his cab had been...

I honestly wondered if he beat her to death. Someone who doesn't know how to punch, even someone who does know how to punch, do damage to their hands delivering that punch.

And at 9:30 January 1st, 2013 there was a knock on my door and I was handed a flyer, a flyer that Is siting in front of me, a flyer that says that she was last seen at the corner of Christina and LOCHIEL. The police refine the case as time passes. As they got more evidence they were able to...

Thanks flipflop. Had a look for it but didn't even know the correct street to look for. My major fault is that I talk better than I listen.

Thanks airplanelamp, missed your response. Scratch that, completely unrelated. I'm sorry about NP, as well. She was a teacher at your school, was she not?

Back to the crime scene discussion: My husband said that the police had part of Lakeshore yellow taped off last night around dinner time but I forgot to ask him exactly where and he's gone back to work. Did anyone else see this, hear anything about what they were doing there on the news, radio...

I'm hoping beyond hope that my thoughts are wrong in thinking that that's what the person meant when they said "a spit." I really hope that it was just poor grammar for spittle. The thought of anything else disgusts me. I'm glad to hear that the family could have the closure of a private viewing.

I'm not saying your friends are lying, I'm saying that outside perception of Kingston, which is a dreary place, don't get me wrong on that, is different than that of the day to day prisoners who occupy those cells and that the Ottawa Sun journalist is outright fabricating his story. I imagine...

Turns out my husband bought TB's Christmas dinner last year. She was in his cab crying she would have to cancel Christmas because she couldn't afford it. Later on my husband dropped off a turkey and fixings and a few toys for the kids. He just told me about it, he hadn't seen a picture of TB...

And in the bowel's of that prison all they have is a very small cell. Pictures of Bernardo in his cell show neatness and order. You kinda prove my point with your comment, when only a select few not bound by professional conduct have access they can say pretty much whatever the hell they want...

Much earlier someone said that the "psychic" found a lighter and saw "a spit" and people were debating what "a spit" meant (Was it a typo for spot? Did they mean spit as in mucous?). I think they meant exactly what the said: They saw a spit. Hence, the closed casket.

I've never known what to think of this story. All other penitentiary information and media implies that long term prisoners keep their houses (cells) clean, why are our Canadian lifers so different? Something stinks about this story, as bad as the "I found Karla Homolka" fairytale.

My husband said the police had part of Lakeshore or somewhere just off Lakeshore taped off yesterday evening. I don't know if it's related. I'll ask him exactly where when he gets home. I can't find anything about it online.

Fair point, but would the NYE festivities maybe lead to the border guards being a little more lax? I'm just thinking that if given a slight opportunity to get out of country, I would.
