Some other thoughts that I had about the state of her death:
I think a water tank on the roof is an excellent place to hide a body/person. It's not foolproof, but gives the perp ample time to clean up and stall the police.
If there was a perp, his/her intent was for Elisa to die. Some people...
Below are some of the points that should be taken into account if the following scenario is true:
(1) After hearing the occupant's voice, Elisa wasn't able to tell which direction it was from, hence looking both ways (to the right side first, in fact).
(2) Even after seeing someone outside...
Your mention of the 'Travel Crime Prevention Tips' is helpful in understanding why someone may intentionally press multiple buttons in the elevator. It would apply where someone else was already inside the elevator or someone else was going into the elevator with you. In Elisa's case, the...
I'm actually very surprised that so many people think Elisa's death was a suicide due to a mental breakdown or drug overdose (certainly not a voluntary suicide). That seems to me to be forcing an explanation since it absolves the need to explain the person's behaviour or actions.
So while...
Thanks to everyone who revealed so much information about Elisa's Tumblr. I have no idea what it is, but it seems that Elisa revealed too much information about herself on there, especially her travel dates/destinations and at such an early date prior to her actual travelling.
I still...
The more I think about it, the more I think someone in charge of the hotel's security is responsible. They are in the best position to know the location of surveillance cameras, exits and passages, have access to keys, have the power to tamper with the system, and give people a sense of security.
I agree that the crime is committed by more than 1 person and most likely by someone who works at or for the hotel. If it has been confirmed that she was nude, then she was probably raped, murdered, and put into the tank. Perhaps Elisa did something which angered someone which triggered the...
The more I think about it, the more I think Elisa's disappearance is not as plain as it seems. Anyone, whether normal or with disorders, will not be able to survive without money and without contacts for over 2 weeks.
I think it could be the case that she may have been abducted and then...
I made an account here just for this case as I find it quite interesting. I've only been following it since mid-last week and the points raised on this thread are pretty insightful, especially the hallway and elevator layout.
Here's my take on it. I do not believe Elisa has any mental...
