Wondering if she could be this Doe, who was found in February 1982 in Louisiana. The recon quite resembles Betty Lou, IMO.

I don’t know that white pages-type websites are all that accurate in terms of timeliness. I just looked up my own uncle and his LKA shows up on Spokeo and other sites. My uncle has been dead since 1994.
Yes. This what I sent to the detective when I emailed her about this possible match last month:
“I am a volunteer advocate with a group of online researchers who try and match up the missing with the unidentified. I would like to submit the following possible match to NamUs #UP10814 (remains of...
I saw that too and submitted it to LE last week (Carri Garland). She told me that Seattle Police “are working with the Ashland family to obtain more information to assist in this possible identification.”
She had a page on CP:

Her date last seen is after she was reported to the first hospital but before the second admission.
I think Karen Sue Hurst resembles the new recon quite a bit. I can't account for how or why she would end up in Florida, but it's possible. She had a metal pin her toe, but this Doe has some missing foot bones.

I wonder if her sneakers could give us some clues. She could have gotten them at a thrift store, but if not, they might give us a better idea of where she's from, how long she had been dead, etc.

I live not too far from where he was found. It is near a major intersection. (In the 80s, it was also considered a poor/high-crime area--so sadly he may not have gotten the attention he deserved.)
I'm assuming he was either a passenger in the car or was driving without a license. Unless he...
And Eva Marie Ridall has a different DOB, but aside from the tattoo, I think she looks like this Doe (and was said to be traveling to CA).

Yvonne Reglar doesn't resemble this Doe very much at all. But her DOB is July 11, 1960 (off by one year) so I have to mention her.

"Diana testified that on the second day of the journey, after a four-or five-hour rest at a motel in Perry, Oklahoma, they proceeded toward New Mexico, where about 10 p.m. at a rest stop they agreed to give a ride to a...
Carl, do you think she might have gone to Vassar (Michigan) HS? That's the town her dad worked in and her brother and extended family appear to still live in that area. It's next to Millington.
That was my guess--that his family knew they were gone but not "missing." How sad. And he did have such a short sentence. Now that they've been identified, I hope their families will get justice someday.
So glad these two finally have their names back. It looks like Jimmy may have been on the run when he was murdered... which makes me wonder why he wasn't matched sooner through fingerprints. RIP Jimmy and Kim.

Hair color is a little off, but what do you think of Tammy Surdam, added to NamUs at the end of August?

I just came here post the same thing. This would have been right along his route from CA to TX. Hopefully they can get identifying info on her from a relative.
