AL AL - Betty White, 38, Northport, 7 December 1980

Wondering if she could be this Doe, who was found in February 1982 in Louisiana. The recon quite resembles Betty Lou, IMO. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) The Doe Network: Case File 651UFLA

Found Deceased WA - Mark Lawrence Ashland, 27, Seattle, 4 Sept 1981

That’s some interesting timing. And yes... answers but not answers.

Found Deceased WA - Mark Lawrence Ashland, 27, Seattle, 4 Sept 1981

I don’t know that white pages-type websites are all that accurate in terms of timeliness. I just looked up my own uncle and his LKA shows up on Spokeo and other sites. My uncle has been dead since 1994.

Found Deceased WA - Mark Lawrence Ashland, 27, Seattle, 4 Sept 1981

Yes. This what I sent to the detective when I emailed her about this possible match last month: “I am a volunteer advocate with a group of online researchers who try and match up the missing with the unidentified. I would like to submit the following possible match to NamUs #UP10814 (remains of...

Found Deceased WA - Mark Lawrence Ashland, 27, Seattle, 4 Sept 1981

I saw that too and submitted it to LE last week (Carri Garland). She told me that Seattle Police “are working with the Ashland family to obtain more information to assist in this possible identification.”

Identified! CA - Los Angeles Co., WhtFem, 55+ yrs, living photo, Sep'17 - Jacqueline Stacey

She had a page on CP: http://charleyproject.org/case/jacqueline-stacey Her date last seen is after she was reported to the first hospital but before the second admission.

MD MD - Upper Marlboro, WhtFem 18-30, UP2260, bus ticket, deformed foot, tattoos, Sep'79

Possible meanings of the "143" tattoo. "I love you" seems like the most plausible. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/143_(number)

FL FL - Naples, WhtFem UP367, 30-40, buried in green shower curtain, Apr'04

I think Karen Sue Hurst resembles the new recon quite a bit. I can't account for how or why she would end up in Florida, but it's possible. She had a metal pin her toe, but this Doe has some missing foot bones. http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/h/hurst

FL FL - Naples, WhtFem UP367, 30-40, buried in green shower curtain, Apr'04

I wonder if her sneakers could give us some clues. She could have gotten them at a thrift store, but if not, they might give us a better idea of where she's from, how long she had been dead, etc. Photo of "Olympics" sneakers at link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.naplesnews.com/amp/857994001

MA MA - Boston, BlkMale 18-25, UP14881, MVA, jacket, sweater, jeans, Oct'81

I live not too far from where he was found. It is near a major intersection. (In the 80s, it was also considered a poor/high-crime area--so sadly he may not have gotten the attention he deserved.) I'm assuming he was either a passenger in the car or was driving without a license. Unless he...

NM NM - Guadalupe Co, WhtFem 17-25, UP17089, Killed on BD (11-Jul-78) by RLanphear, Jul'78

And Eva Marie Ridall has a different DOB, but aside from the tattoo, I think she looks like this Doe (and was said to be traveling to CA). http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/3586dffl.html

NM NM - Guadalupe Co, WhtFem 17-25, UP17089, Killed on BD (11-Jul-78) by RLanphear, Jul'78

Yvonne Reglar doesn't resemble this Doe very much at all. But her DOB is July 11, 1960 (off by one year) so I have to mention her. http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/2475dfoh.html

NM NM - Guadalupe Co, WhtFem 17-25, UP17089, Killed on BD (11-Jul-78) by RLanphear, Jul'78

From https://law.justia.com/cases/california/supreme-court/3d/26/814.html "Diana testified that on the second day of the journey, after a four-or five-hour rest at a motel in Perry, Oklahoma, they proceeded toward New Mexico, where about 10 p.m. at a rest stop they agreed to give a ride to a...

NM NM - Guadalupe Co, WhtFem 17-25, UP17089, Killed on BD (11-Jul-78) by RLanphear, Jul'78

Great find, Addysmom! Has anyone tried a reverse DOB search? It's kind of a big job but we could start by narrowing it to California.

Identified! AR - Blytheville, WhtFem 449UFAR, 18-36, 'Kim' tattoo, Jun'78 - Kimberlin Mills

Carl, do you think she might have gone to Vassar (Michigan) HS? That's the town her dad worked in and her brother and extended family appear to still live in that area. It's next to Millington.

Identified! MO - Pemiscot Co., WhtMale UP14552, 18-25, JH' tattoo, Jun'78 - James Hendricks

That was my guess--that his family knew they were gone but not "missing." How sad. And he did have such a short sentence. Now that they've been identified, I hope their families will get justice someday.

Identified! MO - Pemiscot Co., WhtMale UP14552, 18-25, JH' tattoo, Jun'78 - James Hendricks

So glad these two finally have their names back. It looks like Jimmy may have been on the run when he was murdered... which makes me wonder why he wasn't matched sooner through fingerprints. RIP Jimmy and Kim. http://mdocweb.state.mi.us/otis2/otis2profile.aspx?mdocNumber=150048

Identified! TX - Huntsville, 'Walker County Jane Doe', WhtFem 14-16, 91UFTX, Nov'80 Sherry Ann Jarvis

Hair color is a little off, but what do you think of Tammy Surdam, added to NamUs at the end of August? https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/34986/353/

    AZ AZ - Pima Canyon, WhtFem UP7228, 16-20, oddly-developed mandible, Oct'65

I just came here post the same thing. This would have been right along his route from CA to TX. Hopefully they can get identifying info on her from a relative.
