Assuming that she has one, I want to know what her family has to say about this tragedy. She obviously wanted to conceal her pregnancy, but instead did the opposite. From what I understand, there is a fire station near to the university. She could have surrendered the baby there - no...
This is perplexing. It's stated generally in the paragraphs above the definitive timeline, but not in the timeline itself. I'm inclined to think that it's simply a mistake. As such, though, it's a fairly significant one.
In point of fact the deceased's love ones themselves would surely wonder if there was something they could have done or said to keep the tragedy from happening. Even little children might think that they were somehow at fault because they were too naughty too many times. It is beyond sad, but...
I looked back through posts until blue in the face, and it was categorically stated that the phone was found on the ground about two feet away from the bench. Over time it morphed into "on the bench" - period. I believe in one of the press conferences, it was "by the bench." Seemingly, the...
Having previously stated my belief that "something untoward" occurred in the vicinity of the bench, for me the two things throwing a monkey wrench into formulating what happened to Nicola are - the phone on the ground, and Willow racing back and forth between the bench and the gate.

My heart is aching - for Nicola, and for her poor little children. Their young, innocent lives have been shattered.
My belief is that Nicola was a very nice person. I can see it in her eyes, and in her smile. That she is not still with us is a tragedy.
Eternal peace to you, dear girl.
A few thoughts, for what they're worth:
1. There is some confusion about the phone and its placement when found. I thought it was originally stated that the phone was found on the ground, about two feet from the bench, by the older gentleman walking his dog, and he placed it on the bench. He...
Your last paragraph is spot on. That fact, when it emerged, immediately struck home with me. Those two were constantly burning up their phones. And then there was total silence, the timing of which spoke volumes as to why.
Why, during trial, did he not take the stand on his own behalf and roundly protest his innocence down to the ground. Being guilty probably had something to do with that --
