    Closing arguments- thread #173

If anyone knows how to give closing arguments, it's Juan Martinez. I LOVE HIM!!!

    Closing arguments- thread #173

I would imagine he will reiterate the BIG BANG he gave today, in addition to any new lies the defense claims tomorrow.

I must disagree with you. Jodi is the reason Travis was killed. Because Jodi is a jealous and crazy, heartless waste of being.

a view from the inside: observations from our own court observers #9

As much as I think the DT should have had their witnesses together already when they were up to bat and don't think they should be given a surrebuttal, there is a teeny tiny (okay, huge) part of me that can't wait to see Martinez tear up another defense witness, for the very last time. :tears:

    Trial day 53: REBUTTAL; #162

I believe Jodi's wasn't upset today because she was REALLY upset. I believe she knows she has a few more shots to make this jury believe she is sincere and feels remorse for what she did, which she clearly doesn't. She is crying these "tears" for her own benefit, not because she is really sad...

    trial day 52: REBUTTAL; #160

---------------- I agree that she would have written a pregnancy in her diary, if it were true. She's so full of it! I think all of this BS is just to smear Travis' name as much as she possibly can. I think in that twisted head of hers, JA feels like since Travis is the reason she is locked up...

    trial day 51: REBUTTAL; #158

I must say, it's really hard to hear Nurmi question witnesses. It's like this super slooooooowwwwwwwww drawn out process that leads you nowhere. You wait and you listen and think about where he could possibly be going, just to realize he "has no further questions".

weekend discussion: discuss the trial here #154

As much as I want justice for TA and his family, and can't wait to see JA locked away or put down, I often think about all the free time I will have after the trial is over...and how much I'm going to miss watching JM grill those afflicted with the can't-tell-the-truth blues. As the end draws...

weekend discussion: discuss the trial here #154

It's funny that JW grilled Dr. DeMarte that the 6 signs that indicate if a woman has Battered Women Syndrome is no longer being used by Lenore Walker, the founder of the research. Just for Lenore Walker to go on NG that night and indicate she still uses the 6 signs AND she doesn't believe JA has...

weekend discussion: discuss the trial here #154

I think I'm banned from the site. I went there once to check out the crazies who resided there. I tried to post a comment saying JA would (hopefully) soon be on death row. Not only does the truth hurt, but JA fans don't like to hear the truth; hence the reason they've...

Boy, am I glad ALV was not forthcoming and honest in her answers. It would have given her testimony more weight. The jury can see past the deceptive and incomplete answers ALV gave JM. If ALV was the best the DT has, Arias sure is in trouble. :jail: I LOVE JM!!!! :blowkiss:

KatieCoolady Holds 'Court' - The Dedicated KCL Thread

For those that are concerned about Mondays hearing being about Martinez' fans and signing autographs outside the courtroom, and the possibility that the jury could have seen it, below is a link of the original footage of that tape...before HLN got their hands on it and chopped it out of context...

trial day 45: the defense continues its case in chief #137

I just came across this picture, Jodi possibly drew? It says it's Gary Alexander, and after checking the wiki Travis Alexander page, Gary was Travis' dad. To think that Jodi as evil as she is, is capable of making sincere gestures is completely disturbing. I sure hope this jury gets this right...

trial day 45: the defense continues its case in chief #137

Anyone else notice when the jury came in from a recess today, Jodi stood up and quickly put her glasses on, then immediately after she sat down she took them off. She did this twice today. ...Here's the 1st time in the clip below from the very beginning of the clip to about 0:12 mark. It's...

trial day 43: the defense continues its case in chief #131

While Martinez did use the word "afflicted" first, ALV was the one who compared the afflicted jealousy with the other form of jealousy. Martinez didn't give her two separate options as to what context to use it in, so in this situation ALV would need to explain what she meant between the two...

I caught that too, and wondering the same thing. If so, that brings an interesting angle to the mind and thoughts of Arias.

Regarding looking back at photos of her over the last 5 years.. IMO thats not even necessary to be able to see the drastic transformation.. Just go to the jailbird idol video of Arias and then compare that to any of the more recent video footage from near the end of cross to present day.. Moo is...

trial day 43: the defense continues its case in chief #131

According to Arizona's website here http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/JuryServices/GeneralInformation/faq.asp it states.. "Will I be compensated for jury duty? Yes. Jurors are compensated for mileage if they appear the first day but do not serve for a trial. Mileage is currently...
