Found Deceased OH - Janet Garrett, 48, Miami Twp, 9 March 2017

Odd her motorcycle is stolen after the wreck. So she may be traveling on a motorcycle. Hope she comes to her senses, takes money and resources to stay on the lam.

    IN - Abigail Williams, 13, & Liberty German, 14, Delphi, 13 Feb 2017 #8

I was reading when the post came up. Very graphic and long. My first thought was WTH. It made me uneasy for a bit.

I don't think LE would call him a suspect as a ruse. If they made an arrest and it's not the bridge guy, defense attys would use that as reasonable doubt. They would have a field day that the real perp is still out there and not pursued or identified. They must feel confident to call him a suspect.

Post Verdict - Ross Harris Trial

She wants to be an advocate now and speak out to prevent hot car deaths. Not sure how that's going to work for her, hmmm.

GUILTY OH - Reagan Tokes, 21, OSU student, fatally shot, Columbus, 8 Feb 2017

What a disgusting person. He should have been in prison. No one should have crossed his path, except a prison guard. How sad for Reagan and her family.

    GUILTY TX - Zuzu Verk, 22, Alpine, 12 Oct 2016 #3 *Arrests*

The Tribute to Zuzu was very touching. What a blessing she was in her short time on earth. The Zuzu Effect lives on.

TX TX - Phyllis Berry, 21, Terlingua, 1 Nov 1975

That is exactly what her friends reported, that she went "to find a bush" but never returned. That area, Terlingua, is well known for buried mining shafts, some 200 feet deep. That has always been a consideration of why not a trace of her was found. The rumor of her being seen on a cycle was...

Hi Alleykins and thanks shehangsbrightly. I knew Dale very well , he has since passed. Wonder what the background is concerning the hitchhiker. I already found Vangie. The others mentioned don't ring a bell but if they hung out with Dale I should know them. To read the articles I need a...

Well I said I didn't know her roommate because I didn't know it was Vangie. I do know Vangie, went to school with her and we all hung out. I will do some research . It would be interesting to re connect with her. Thank you for the link and info. I'm going to check it out.

    GUILTY TX - Zuzu Verk, 22, Alpine, 12 Oct 2016 #3 *Arrests*

I caught that also and seemed to me he was implying 2 people were digging. I thought maybe only one good shovel and the other using something not as effective.

I find it odd also. At the time of adoption, I would think a search for bio father would be done. A fictitious name could have been given, but revealing the name for further research is not unreasonable. Also wonder when "doesn't exist" was a known fact.

theJudge, I think I misunderstood your post about name recollection. I thought you meant the people she was with that night. I have answered the question regarding the folks that she lived with in prior posts. I think he "uncle John" passed before her disappearance. She was living with a...

Hello theJudge, yes, I do remember. We had conversations, some slight differences in the events. As stated, leaving her belongings and dog never changed. The rumor of being seen on a motorcycle was questionable by friends. Running off was dismissed after the investigation( I'm not saying that...

AZ AZ - Bob Crane, 49, Scottsdale, 29 June 1978

This case has always fascinated me. DNA was not developed at the time. Crane had a rare type-B blood. If Carpenter had been tried when technology was available, he would have died in prison. Mr Crane led an interesting life for sure, but suffered a horrific death.

TX TX - Phyllis Berry, 21, Terlingua, 1 Nov 1975

I didn't know her roommate, but knew several of the people that she met up with. They were sharing a camping area and by their accounts having a good time. Nothing seemed amiss. Some of those present that night have passed.

Hello and welcome to WS. I was surprised to say the least, seeing your post. Phyllis and I went to Hood jr high, she lived a couple of streets away and ran in the same circle of friends. As I mentioned she lived in Germany with a sister for a time. When she returned to Odessa, she had changed...

Yes, I meant the pic in post 726. That isn't her. The two pics up above is how I remember her. The pic with short hair, that is a wig. She lived in Germany for time and came back with that shag wig. No tattoos that I know, but she had double ear piercings.

They were a retired, elderly couple when she lived with them. They would be long deceased. No, she never contacted them or anyone after her disappearance. She vanished that evening at the chili cook off.
