Colorado Springs Police investigators have been poring over a home on Maroon Bells Avenue, near Vickers and Academy, for clues into the disappearance of a woman.

However, after a story on the matter aired during the 5 p.m. Thursday newscast, Heriford and Vindelov called KRDO Newschannel 13 by phone to insist that the blog report was false. They said it's not their responsibility to confirm or deny the matter with the media.

Heriford also said he asked a judge on Tuesday to delay finalizing the divorce because "it wouldn't be right" until his wife is found.
