Officially, it's not the British Isles. It's either Great Britain or the United Kingdom, made up of England, Scotland, Wales, and northern Ireland. The British Isles is more of a geographical name.

Samatha Alexander has the most expressive, pain-filled, anguish ridden eyes. I do not even know her, but watching her go through all this nonsense makes u want to hug her and assure her that, in time, the pain becomes tolerable. Raw always, to some degree, but less painful in time.

And she looks so much like Travis. It hurts me physically to see Travis' family in so much pain. Justice is fast approaching though...

That poor guy. I broke my ankle about 12 - 15 years ago and was shocked at how disabled I was. It wasn't a bad break and now it's like nothing ever happened. But at the time . . . boy, it was a huge pain getting around.

Not going today , it's my brothers birthday! I'll go tomorrow and thurs though. I'm hanging up my notebook though..explained in the observer thread. I'm actually not that well right now in terms of my usual vitality so had to make some hard decisions. Thanks for asking.

I cant remember the details of the stolen ring so i will let another poster answer that one. Travis had a gathering at his house. Jodi showed up. Travis told her there was not enough room for her to stay over. So she curled up and slept under the Xmas tree. If I'm not mistaken i believe this was the gathering Jodi announced she and Travis were BF and GF. Travis stated to guests they were not.

I'm still annoyed my 15 year old son spent a grand total of 3 months in public school at age 5.. I pulled him out... And I'm still paying school taxes ... I'll die paying school taxes. It's just not right.

Hey all I've been extremely busy the past couple days & haven't been able to log into WS/post/view forums & just wanted to add a thought/theory....



I've been thinking about JA and that stinking 9mm that she bought after her murderous rampage & I'm not sure if anyone has brought this thought up but I think that JA bought the 9mm as a continuation of her premeditation & cover up post-killing (& NOT for the reason that she states of course nor for the reason that some have speculated on here that she was going to go on a serial killer style murdering spree cross country w/ the gun). What I mean is that we all know how sneaky, cold, calculating, & weasely that JA is & she probably thought it a good idea to go out and get herself a gun of a DIFFERENT caliber than what she used to kill TA thinking that when the police go to run ballistics on the casing found at the scene (which JA purposely left at the crime scene for this reason) they will find that it is a 25mm caliber bullet/gun that they are looking for & w/ a 9mm JA thought that when the time came that all would be suspicioning her involvement in TA's death and when the cops go to search if she has a firearm they will find that she DOES have ONE gun of a different caliber than what they were looking for. I think JA underestimated the ability of LE and thought that this would be helpful in throwing them off the scent of her involvement. She could simply say to the LE that to look at her gun ownership records and they will see that she never owned a 25mm gun, but instead a completely different caliber gun & the records would show it was the only registered gun that she has ever owned. She could then argue to LE that if it were her that killed TA the bullet casing that would be found at the scene would match her gun (ae: a 9mm).
Everything that we know about JA is that she meticulously calculated little ways (both right before 6/4/08 & the days immediately following after) that could make herself appear innocent and/or having no involvement in TA's death. She went as far as to steal the 25mm from the same house that she resided in and did her best to make it look as if it was stolen from anyone other than her so it wouldn't be a stretch to think that she decently sought out one type caliber gun (that in secretly stealing would make it so that there were no records to her owning/having such a gun) & made sure to use it during the commission of TA's murder in order to leave some kind of evidence such as the casing purposely at the scene in order to try and throw the blame off of her being the killer. And then right after using the 25mm gun and planting her casing evidence, she disposed of it in a place where it can't be found atm and instead went and bought herself a different caliber gun. It seriously sounds like something that JA would do/did (along with all of the other similar deceptive tactics that she took). This also explains why she left the bullet casing (that was on TOP of blood) behind when it was laying on the bathroom tile in plain view/sight & drawing from the similar patterns that we see JA use in her deceptive tactics used both right before TA's murder and immediately thereafter it would make the most sense for WHY she went out & bought a gun. What do ya'll think about this?

Does anyone know if the jury looks at them often, or do the jurors just look at whose testifying? I wonder if the jurors look around the room and take it all in or not.

I'd like to know where that restaurant was. When Jodi met Travis she was living with Darryl in their co-owned home in Palm Desert, CA. Palm Desert is a straight 4 hr. drive to Mesa on I-10 E... the same I-10 E JA drove way out of her way from Yreka to get to in Pasadena on June 4....the same I-10 in Pasadena which is two hrs. east of ALV's home in Long Beach. Another strike against ALV imo is her certain knowledge, having lived and worked near I-10 for decades, of how damning JA's murder route planning was.

Actually Pasadena is about an hour north of Long Beach, but I don't think that changes your point at all.

G'morning guys. It was nice to take a couple of days to do some other normal stuff. One day I managed to wander around Home Depot's garden section forever and pick out some flowers. I love this time of year so much!

Then yesterday I went with my DD to look at wedding dresses. I've always thought those moms on tv were being overly dramatic when they cry seeing their girls in a certain dress but yesterday she kept parading out in dress after dress and I'd think " meh that ones okay' but then she came out in 'The One' I felt my face get hot and my nose was stingy and I had to fight back tears to not be embarrassed in the bridal shop. You could just see all over her how beautiful she felt.

Buuut here I am at half past nine again checking the clock constantly, reading on WS and refreshing once I reach the bottom. Hurry up 11;30! We do have a 9:30 pst start today, don't we? I'm feeling a tad bit addicted here.

I felt compelled to bring this up right away, so please give me just a moment of your time. I promise I won't ramble on and on for days on end about stories that don't matter or pertain to this subject. So here goes.

I feel SO bad that I have been reading all of your posts with your inner thoughts, I just wanted to say...I'm sorry. I feel like I have invaded everyone's trust, so I needed to get that off my chest right away. I take everyone's word very seriously and I haven't seen anyone lying in their posts (although one could say, if you lie, you're not a liar) but who am I to judge, I'm not a human lie detector! Please also note that although there has been a lot of "naughty" talk on these threads, I will not ask any questions to you all about that subject, even though it would be extremely important at times for you to clarify, as I am OLD FASHIONED, and I may get a bit embarrassed about it.

One more thing about me I feel you all need to know. I have not been sneaking my iPad or laptop in through my doggy door, or into my closet, or for that matter, haven't laid under the Christmas tree lurking on these threads (although, at the rate this trial is moving along, I might lay under my own Christmas tree in December and read for a while) :floorlaugh:
