There's one thing good about her being arrested 3 times even though she gets out....cavity searches. ;)

Do they really do that? I was watching that video at the court for a whle and I noticed most of the men had handcuffs on and most of the women did not. How is that fair??

Why did her case get put before that everybody elses?

I wonder how Jose would feel if it was his daughter who'd loaned her car to Casey, only to find out later that Casey had ripped off of her checkbook and used it to systematically drain her bank account.

Whose constitutional rights would he be worried about then?

"there is NO NANNY, DEATH IN THE CAR, AND CAYLEE IS GONE!!!" snipped from my previous post.

With respect, which part of my first statement is incorrect? Caylee is most certainly gone. There was death in the car. And there was no nanny. I dont see how those facts can be disputed. I can understand he has to cast a shadow over it, but a fact is a fact. And those things are facts. But i suppose we have to wait until it goes to trial for it to be definative.

Then you will know whether or not LE has the stuff needed to back up the car claims. Until then, it's just words. Strong, very believable, and probably quite true words -- but words just the same.

Yes, yes they do. Every time she goes in. Strip, search, delouse, public shower, issued clothes. If she's put in jail, that's what happens. If she's kept in a holding cell, then no.

Also, every time you leave your general cell block in jail. Not for food or exercise, but visits. My poor kid brother had to get a cavity search before and after every visit too! :( Stupid kid. LOL.

Gonna' sound sexist -- but, deal, k? One smack to the head, and pretty much any woman is dropping to the ground. Women are primarily less violent; and generally pose a lesser threat than males.

PS: Life's not fair.

I'm just waking up here in SoCal and did not see his press conference, but what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

My husband is in Iraq and has been since January and I'm just not finding a connection between Iraq and KC.
My son is in Iraq, too. What JB said made little sense to me. Yes, I know he is a defense attorney, but not once did he say he had concern for CA, the baby. What he said almost sounded like he was rehearsing for an opening statement!

I think it's safe to assume that it wouldn't be KC's ... lol ... but he wouldn't be allowed to participate in that case anyway.

Baez

"I have family serving in Iraq"

"There's no Casey Constitution"

Oh my god, pleeeease.

WOOOOhhhh,
What did he say? Do you have a link yet??? I am just wondering about the Iraq part.

Grrrrr, I tell you what. If I was anywhere in that courthouse, as in Judge, correction officer, whatever, she would wait until the very last one, she would have handcuffs on everywhere, and her butt would be held with no bond, and I would put her in a cell with BUBBA until she told me where her daughter was. I imagine, though, as highly sexed as she is (based on all her boyfriends and police she has slept with) she might actually enjoy being in with Bubba.

I didn't watch him slime around at the microphone, can't stomach him, but it makes no sense to me either.

They always give her the easy way out

Well, apparently his family over there is fighting for The Consitution, and therefore are fighting for KC and her rights... ummmm I am in Australia so I could be wrong but I was under the impression that the Forces in Iraq (the Australian, US, English etc) are over there to keep the peace and help the country to gain stability after the removal of a violent regime? I did not realise that WE are all over there to fight for the American Consitution? I am sure our soldiers (Australian) would be VERY interested to hear that! Once again, Baez is misinformed.

Heh, good points! Sure takes the fire away from his attempt to set ablaze patriotic emotion.

I agree, it must be cause she is just so darn cute and all.

I don't know I am a guy and she makes me sick. She could be hot if she wasn't so easy.......if you know what I mean. And come on look what she has done nobody in there right mind would want to be around her

Jose, let's speak frankly here. You are never going to be able to make your client look like a victim on the check charges - it's just not going to happen. You do however risk your own reputation by making idiotic comments about her constitutional rights when the legal system works the way it's supposed to.

The public has no sympathy for a thief who steals money because she's too lazy to work for a living. Casey is in no way a victim here. If she gets arrested again for ripping off her own grandparents, the public will applaud because that's what's supposed to happen to thieves. They get arrested and prosecuted. Especially when they're foolish enough to use their own ID and get caught on camera.

When it comes to these financial crimes, your client is one step away from someone with a mask and a gun who robs a bank. What makes Casey worse than a random thief is the fact that she chose to victimize her friends and family members.

I hope you keep your office petty cash fund safely locked up.
