I have to wonder. What if he is an informant, once he was bad and he turned to the good side. Now his daughter his kidnapped, LE knows he is informant and can't put this out to the media. Just a thought.

I guess I don't understand why Ron's friends would make up total lies about him, if we are to believe what Ron is saying. Why would this Chadd fellow say that about him "being 75% sure he knows where she is." What would their motive be?

Still find it odd that Ron never actually said Haleigh's name. Only my daughter, my child. Why won't he say her name?

I don't approve of the biomom's doing this on Geraldo, but I will say that nothing she has said surprises me at all.

Nor does his (empty imo) denials. It's just the sort of dysfunction I sensed from the first time I saw Ron and Misty together, unfortunately. I've known people like that, and it's all too familiar.

I'll leave it at that - it's just been hard to see so many be what I feel is bamboozled by him and laying so much suspicion and blame on Misty, who I've seen as scared witless of him.

I have no idea what happened to Haliegh, and definitely don't want to jump to any conclusions. I only know that this is one bad situation for any child to be growing up in, and I pray she survives.

(bold by me) Good point.. ITA! We said about the same things but good point regarding suspicions of Misty and her fear of him.

I do have to say, I still stand by Ron's side of things.

Bio mom goes on TV, trashes Ron for no apparent reason, and even though Ron has the chance to trash her back, he doesn't. He gets angry, but does not threaten her, he threatens responsible legal action. He defends himself, and ends with a plea for his daughter, which we don't hear at all from bio mom.

I actaully think even more highly of Ron than I did before this interview. He handled it in a very mature way, as opposed to bio mom.

Did anyone catch if the vigil they were referring to was the most recent? If Ron told Chad and Marcus he was 75% sure who took his daughter and had a gun waiting, this could turn this investigation on a dime! All Ron has ever said was "I don't make friends. I don't make enemies."
Good grief!

This statement might be what has stirred the bio-moms family up too.....

So Chad & Marcus claim Ron said this....& Ron claims he never said it.

Wonder if Misti has heard Ron make this claim ??

That's wahat I heard, him speaking in present tense. Denied ever dealing or being a CI, but did not say he never did drugs, just that he does not do them now.

Why would he know how to properly spank Haleigh unless he didnt do it the right way first? This guy is a MAJOR loose cannon

I wish GR had asked more about the agreement. What kind of an agreement could a child and a parent have about spanking?

Geraldo started off asking him if he was a DRUG INFORMANT! Where did he get this info?????Locally? Probably because Ron was charged with many drug crimes, but no convictions? Ron doesnt want to make the local dealers mad, or suspicious. I am afraid I would have to spill all the beans if I were him. Maybe he has to LE, but to get on tv and deny it makes him look so bad, and is only going to have the spotlight shined brighter on him and his activities, and not on Haleigh

What do you think Kelly? I think they want to show the other side of the coin, so to speak. Now it comes out maybe the father was a hot head and Misty put herself in a bad position. Ron ran with a wild circle of friends and even tho Misty might not be perfect either, I think she was basically under his control, and maybe that is changing as we speak and the truth will come out.

When LE nails the timeline. When. That is what will help to find Haleigh.

oh ITA SS however, when children fall on the sidewalk the hands and arms go first - in fact, had a child in a different class fall one time - didn't get her hand down in time and broke her wrist. I got real close to the TV to see that picture and her left eye was black. You're right when kids (or anyone) get hit hard enough in the nose it can black eyes - but usually its BOTH eyes when its a nose hit. Plus IF RC took her to the hospital right away - they would have xrayed and checked her nose right then. Why did he take her back a week later because he thought her nose could be broke? I went through two different incidents with my own kids - my DD was 3 - fell at preschool hit the side of a table - thought she broke her nose (her eyes did go black). My DS - rolled off the top of a bunk bed and hit the metal frame of the bottom bed (SCARED ME TO DEATH!!!) they kept him all night - did all kinds of xrays thought his cheek might have been broke and his nose (neither - thank God) and both his eyes got black and shut for 3 days!!! But just falling on a sidewalk - don't think so - I've never seen it and I've been around kids in a school everday for 15 years.

She has Turners. Her little elbows and arms may not be as reactive as a normal child or her reflexes a bit slower. Or...her little arms could have been carrying something at the time like books maybe?

In all seriousness, does Ron's father has some type of medical condition? His face was an odd purple-red shade and he looked very "bloated." I am not poking fun at all, am being serious.

I'll repeat myself.
Once you have had contact with CPS or whatever they called state to state, you know the rules as to what you can and can't do in raising you rkids. .
And they will take an anonymous report from anyone. They were involved in a custody battle over 2 kids, you can bet that Rn had CPS called on him, and probably more than once.
It says something that the kids were not removed and that there was no open case at the time HAleigh was taken.
I've dealt with the CPS leeches, allegations mean nothing.
