Could anything in the deposition be used as evidence in an obstruction trial for Lee?

JM is hammering on him about not contacting the police about the Blanchard Park story.

Oh WOW! THAT WOULD BE WONDERFUL.
:woohoo:

It's not Lee that can't string a whole sentence together. Neither can the attorneys. The person who wrote up the rough draft did a terrible job on it. I can't make sense of half of the stuff each person is saying. I guess that is why they call it a rough draft! I would think that the person who is sitting there transcribing the whole thing would get it right. If not, how can she/he go back and try to remember what each person actually said? I had to stop reading on page 194 because it was such a mess and trying to figure out what each person was saying was really getting on my nerves. What a mess.
The transcript was certainly poor. I do not know if that is just the way it is for first draft?

However, even listening direct to the audio it is extremely difficult to fathom what the dickens Lee is talking about. He really does speak in some sort of code. Actually the impression I get is his level of english is very low. He often does not complete a thought as a coherent sentence. It is a very confused thought processes and speaking ability that cause the break down in formulating and arranging ideas. That leads to gaps which he annoyingly fills with "you know" when plainly we don't know, because he has not said. In my view he may be appearing worse than he really is because the gaps and half formulated thought are a result of excessive spin and arrangement of what he is about to say so as not to give too much away. Or put simply, he is preoccupied with making up bits of the story to suit, rather than simply telling the truth. I would guess that FBI could write a book based on a Polygraph test of Lee? All the needles would be hard over from start to finish.

One of the most curious lines uttered while discussing his own and his Mom's notes - Lee got a bit irritated and stated LE had been there to the house so many times and simply 'took what they wanted,' yet Lee continued on to state that they found some of it odd in that, "Why did they leave that? It's just as relevant as..."

I wonder what is still in that house that Lee and his parents know is relevant?

I do not think Lee should pursue his new-found vocation as Private Dick! at least not in a searching, LE way.

What exactly do the aptitude test answers look like for PD's?

Oh wait, I see we can figure out one kind based on the deposition, but not the other.

Why is he speaking throughout this in a current voice? As if he is still searching and can still bring Caylee home? He persists in using a current tense for most answers that are relative to his 'investigation'.

Ah to be a fly on the wall when they went off the record about Jose receiving payments for deals. He was about to spill.

I saw a bit more but missed the ending.

Last I heard KC was being taught a "lesson" and she had to follow instructions for 55 days and Caylee would be OK. What did that "Lesson" turn out to be? Has KC learned it yet?
Seems KC was doing well. Going to Target at 3:00 etc and going to all the right parties etc.
She did not tell a living soul that Caylee was missing, so FZFG should have been well pleased.
So what went wrong?
KC did everything right. Was it CA fault for calling the cops? I gather Caylee was alive right up to 15th July when she called Mommydearest? If only CA had listened to KC!

So is the unfortunate end part, that FZFG killed Caylee after CA called in LE?
Does that mean that while Cops an searchers and world media swarmed around the Ant home, FZFG chose to dump Caylees body in the middle of it?
If she drove past the Ant home was it captured on fox Cam?

I think the lesson was to "learn to tell the truth" and obviously Casey hadn't learned that lesson because Caylee is dead and we all know that Casey hasn't learned the lesson yet. Now if I were the Anthonys I would be looking over my shoulders all of the time. You never know when Zanny the Nanny is going to make her next move. Which Anthony will be next?

I think it is funny that Zanny the Nanny is the invisible person that Casey chose to blame. If memory serves me weren't they real close and did things together? Didn't Casey stay at the hospital when Zanny or her family were in a accident? Seems to me they were just the best of buds until Caylee disappeared. Seems like Casey would have been better off to have been waiting for Zanny in the park and a stranger comes along and steals Caylee away from her. Casey has herself in so deep she will never crawl out.

I remember in the first days in July, Cindy said Casey might have told some mistruths. I'd never heard the word used like that. It wasn't exactly wrong to me, just weird. Another phrase they use is to 'offer up'. No one in my region (great lakes) says that much either. Oh, that's where they are from!

Oh please. I can't even go there....The whole Zanny the Nanny sh(t...The whole WAY elaborate story about the Jacksonville Hard Rock
cafe events (with zach's Dad JEFF!!!!), the subsequent car acciedent/hospital stay...PLEASE! Spare me!
BULLSH(T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is way above and beyond RIDICULOUS!!!

I haven't read all the posts here, only page one, and I've only read the first 53 pages of the depo, and viewed only part one of the video depo on WFTV.com. but I just have to comment before I watch or read any further:

WTF??????

"You know, you know, you know, YOU KNOW"!!! How many times does this guy say that? :crosseyed: OMG. He's not a very good speaker, is he? I assume he's under pressure, but my goodness. And that laughter! WTH does he think is funny? The situation? His comments? His screwed up family dynamic? I know some people laugh inappropriately, but he does it so often.

Does he not remember that KC told the 911 operator that ZFG took Caylee, spelling out the entire name?

He talks a lot but doesn't SAY anything of substance. He seems at time to be trying to remember what his mother or someone may have instructed him to say or not to say. Bizarre.

I can't believe Caylee had those people and only those people to watch over her! My heart breaks for the poor little girl. She has no one from her family who will stand up for her and say this has to be about Caylee only and justice for her. Instead her rotten family is standing behind her murderer. Unbelievable.

If nothing else Casey doesn't lack imagination. Maybe while she is in prison she will start writing mystery novels. I sure hope we get a jury that uses common sense and can see right through her bullsh(t!!!! I also hope that all three of the Anthonys have to testify. They'll be hard pressed to remember what each said up there on the stand so that their storys match.

Why, Poirot, you've said clearly and precisely much more than Lee ever could. You are so right about him. The man either can't put a sentence together, or he has trouble remembering The Team's instructions, or he's a bit slow in making up falsehoods on the spot, unlike his mother who can spin a tale at the drop of a hat, or the sight of a microphone.

I don't think JM's done with the depo...so someone, QUICK!! Mail this question to JM! Ask him to ask all of the Ant's this question - one by one. Let's hear their answers...or should I say...their lies, or silence. They haven't looked for Zanny. They know she doesn't exist in the real world.

Shoot, I remember Cindy saying something like she would bang on doors until she found Caylee. By any chance did the media film her while she was out supposedly doing this?

She was banging her hammer, does that count? :D

Lee's smiles and laughter give him away. It is the same as when he was talking about the smell of decomp in the car. It is sinister and deceptive. Creepy is another word for it.

The Timer55 thing makes me think they got a lot of ideas from here. LOL You guys are too good. ;)

Timer55 must have been KC's way of celebrating Caylee's demise - 55 days before her birthday. Sick, sick, sick.

I do like the idea of asking the media if they have video of Cindy banging on doors looking for Caylee. I would love to know why none of the As are out looking for the "real" killer. Oh, wait! They know where she is. She's suing Casey in civil court. OR She's counter-suing ZFG in the same court. Oh yeah, that's why the As aren't out looking for the real killer.

Did anyone notice Lee's bracelet? It sure looks almost exactly like the cremation jewelry we were talking about on the Caylee Memorial thread.
It looks just like the picture on the website.

And if it is, how can he possibly sit there and say "to this day I believe everything my sister tells me." with that piece of Caylee, what is left of his beautiful niece, right there on his arm? :(
How can he walk around with that reminder everyday and still believe/defend her killer?

The transcriptionist/court reporter has to transcribe exactly what is said. This includes the "Um"s, "ya know"s, the stuttering, etc.

What I found surprising was that LA didn't mention anything about KC demanding AL's phone number on her first call from jail (aka not wanting to make her look bad). I mean that really was the sole purpose behind the call. He kept saying KC was mad because "no one would listen to her" when she really seemed mad that no one would give her AL's number!

Yes, that bothered me as well. Besides their "mistruths", this makes me wonder how much information the A family is omitting.
