Hmmm-has anyone else listened to those tapes again today? All the stuff I transcribed about "big Hank" getting on Joe and Ron talking about crushing his hands are gone!

Still on page three of the thread trying to catch up, so I didn't know if this question was answered. Misty states during the LVA /hypnosis that Ronald called her phone around 5 or 5:30( would have to go back and listen to the whole fairytale again to be certain about the time) but she said RC called her phone and wanted to talk to the AC Man so she gave the AC Man the phone.

Whether that is true or not......your guess is as good as mine. but she did say RC called her phone. Not sure what to believe anymore after reading the blow by blow on all these tapes.

It seems the AC man really ws there. This was posted on the AMW site last February.

Merchant confirmed that and [sic] air conditioning repairman did visit the home at 5 p.m. on Feb. 9, 2009, the day before Haleigh's disappearance, but police are confident he was not involved.

Inv. Merchant said he was questioned within an hour of the disappearance and provided a solid alibi.

At 25:40 in the hypnosis video, she says that she was putting up "a little basketball thing" for the kids on the porch. She saw the AC man was there. She walked out of the house and called Ronald. She said, "The AC man is here", and Ronald said, "Yeah". She then says she gave the phone to Ronald to talk to the AC guy. I think she meant to say that she gave the phone to the AC man. When asked at what time this took place, she states 5:00.

No, I think she meant what she said. I think THEY were not at the MH, but the AC guy was, and he called their phone to find out where they were.

Ron states in the one of the recordings this thread is about that he stopped at the store on the hill where the highway turns into 4 lanes from 2 lanes. This would be in San Mateo. GER is going to put (if she hasn't already) pics up.

Are you asking about the stretch of highway searched the day Ron and Misty got married? If so, it was on Hwy 17-10 mile stretch to Crescent City.

The area off the Memorial Bridge (in Palatka) that LE recently searched for a gun used in another crime is explained in the pic thread by GER.

Here is one of the clenchers for me.........WHO IN THE H gets married on a day that LE are looking for your dtr? GRANTED........they may not have known what day LE was going to schedule that search but they could of cancelled the "wedding" that day or the "reception"..........I mean come on........it's not like they couldn't get another cake and plates from Walmart or had an expensive wedding coordinator; or ron's "tuxedo" was due back!

IMO...the search mattered not to them. They knew she wasn't going to be found where the search was.

They are both guilty of either doing the crime.. or knowing about the crime and covering it up? It could be either.
I vote they both know who/what/why, but it isn't either one of them that did it.

That's the $64K question. His testimony will be key in establishing a timeline. We won't hear any of it until someone is arrested.

Guess he would pick up some peanuts and a six pack if the deed was already done.. justice already completed..who needs the law? Maybe TiC and ToC went with him.. to kill the person and to dispose of the body?

It may have served 2 purposes:
1. Justice for Haleigh
2. To prevent the person from saying why he took Haleigh, should LE find him. What exactly did Ronald (and maybe TiC and ToC) do to the person to cause this?

Yes..it was definetely protesting.. and if they found out he already got justice..he could later say..I SAID i'd kill him, you heard me say it! He took my daughter! But I believe also he is hiding what the motive was for the person who did it..and dead men can't talk.

I love the part..."I don't care if you get this on tape!" I'll kill whoever took her. Does he want it on tape? I think he does.

Just trying to think out of the box. With the backgrounds of them all..and their known activities.. it is highly possible this was drug/ related. I just don't think it is as simple as Misty overdosing her, or Ronald hitting her, ..etc. and then they ALL cover for the perp for 14 months. I think it is bigger/more complicated than that.

And just how DID Ronald get the scrapes on his hands? Did he punch the door for an alibi to explain them away?
