I think what we have to remember and I mean no disrespect BUT what constitutes a good parent to us is IMO COMPLETELY different to them. I think I'm stating the obvious but I always try to keep that in mind. I mean in the CA case, KC's friends said she was such a good mom too, but then again that is coming mostly from her friends that are 20-something single party people. KWIM?

Maybe in their eyes, the fact that Haleigh wasn't hit, had a roof and clothing makes RC a "good" parent. JMO.

That is exactly what I was thinking. If someone asked about Ron's parenting abilities, she probably answered, (I never saw him hit his children, the kids were well fed, they were always clean, and they were happy) I'm not sure how much weight Chelesa would have placed on Ron's drug use. When you hear about kids ingesting drugs or poisonous materials, you don't think about kids as old as Haleigh. This is something toddlers get into. I don't think Haleigh's disappearance had anything to do with her ingesting drugs.

while I agree with the bolded portion....I wish I didn't. I wish Haleigh was numb, far away, perhaps even out of body....because what I am afraid happened to her is almost unbearable to think of. God Bless her soul.

I don't know about that. She was at an age where they do start to pick up paterns of behavior from the adults around them. All of the adults are doing these, I want to try one too! This of course assumes that any ingesting of drugs was something hayleigh decided to do, and not something an adult handed her to help her sleep better so they could party.

Drugs were extremely prominant in that household environement. There is no way she didnt come in contact with them.

Nope, it's not against the law, until you start shtupping the sitter, and from both of them, Misty was described as his girlfriend, and they talked about "their" bed.

And doesn't anyone else find it sickening that if MC's birthday is in December, she had just turned 17 (from being 16 years old!) and sleeping with a 25/26 year old man? I find that repulsive! And how LC & HC would ever allow this, is mind boggling to me. Would anyone in their right state of mind agree to their teenager dating (and living with) a grown man with 2 kids?

Sorry, this whole family is messed up! What they constitute as a normal family life, is unbelievable. I feel sorry for all of the children involved with them. Poor little Haleigh was doomed from the beginning.

I can't believe that LE didn't go after RC as a SO or a child Molester. :furious:

CHELSEA CROSLIN: I told them that Joe, when he was staying in Satsuma with us -- I lived in Crescent City, a little bit farther, but it`s all in the same area. He stayed at Tommy`s house for a few days until him and Ronald had had that falling out regarding the gun that he had stolen that was recovered. From there, he went and stayed at Lisa and Hank`s house. There was a car accident and Hank was airlifted off to Gainesville. I`m talking about Hank, senior.

I found the bolded portion of your post intriguing and worth more than a few moments of thought on my part. I never knew that Joe was actually staying with Tommy and Lyndsy before going to stay with Timmy and Chelsea...also...we heard that Joe went to stay with Lisa and Hank.....do we know if that location was the location said to be blocks away from this recent St Johns River search? Plus, I believe this could clear up how Timmy and Chelsea got the van that day. Joe most likely drove it over, given that he needed to get the heck away from Ron and his anger.

130 Magnolia is just a block or so from the dock. Crescent City is about 16 miles from Shell Harbor Road. Green Lane is about 3 miles from Shell Harbor Road. GGM's house is about 5 miles.

Thankx Raisincharlie (hate using abbreviation for you - RC - UGH!) anyway - yes Michael Brewer went back to school Wed this week. He is now in Palm Beach County - not Broward - and has "dissed" his old school on nat'l TV this week.

Its the same school Josie Ratley went to - and was in the bus loop of when she was kicked in the head by Wayne Treacy with steel toed boots. She had her 3rd craniotomy (sp?) on Monday - reported she will be out for 24 to 48 hours and we've had no new news yet. Please pray for Josie and her family.

Ok - OT is over - back to our regularly scheduled thread discussion!

Mornin Swag! IIRC this was briefly mentioned on NG or JVM I think (and I stress think...) on Gma Flora's first or second appearance. I posted a comment about it as I was watching the show when the comment was made. I'm pretty sure it was NG who make the comment and said that this latest poly made poly #4 and VSA #1, and was specifically about Misty's cousin Jo dunnit story and she failed. The poly proved that she was lying about the cousin Jo story. Sorry I can't be exact as to which night it aired. :crazy:

Hi Grandmaj....yes that was waaa-y back in August but it reinforces something in my mind that I have felt from the beginning. Misty Croslin isn't the only one with inconsistencies, and Law Enforcement has been onto these inconsistencies since waaa-y before August, hence the 14 hour interrogation in Mass.

Yep, betcha that's how she's running this. THAT poly asked about JO's involvement and MC failed it miserably - shows "proof" that JO is probably not the one that killed Haleigh and that MC is setting him up.

I think MC is lying about sexual abuse in those test and is still sticking to the GUN story. She is also lying about exactly what she saw and heard and her involvement in the evening. We do not know what questions they ask her. She is clearly lying to protect herself and others....

That's true of sweet lil Haleigh's world - that's for sure. No one has stood up for her and justice yet. Although IMO GMH is trying.

All along I have believed, and still do, that whatever happened to Haleigh, she did not die in the home that night.

Did they not have dogs in there very quickly the next morning? I thought I remember that the dogs didn't hit on anything in the home? Am I right on that?

That one piece of information has led me to believe all this time that she did not die in that house or the dogs would have let us know. Cadaver dogs can hit within minutes of death and if the body is only in the area for a few minutes they can alert to it. As I remember it there was only interest from the dogs on the dock area. That still sticks with me. I still believe she was taken away from the MH that night for some reason. Why and by whom I am still undecided upon.

IMO Poor Flora injected herself in this mess. She continues to go on shows. If she just wanted to do the right thing, she would give LE the info and let that be that. Why the need for T.V. coverage? IMO that is not the right thing.

As far as getting made an arse on TV, she did a pretty good job of that before Chelsea called. IMO

If I were Nanny, I would be allll over the media with this. Especially considering they're well over a year into this mess- and still no answers. No one in the world could make me shut up... even if I thought it may harm my flesh & blood. JmO.

I have wondered if it is true that cadaver dogs did NOT pick up scent in the home. If so, I fear that Haleigh may have been sexually abused and injured, with evidence left on the much-discussed blanket/curtain. She may have been taken from the house in the van as they discussed whether to get medical attention for her. They may have drugged her again if she was in pain and bleeding. They may have eventually decided that her body, living or dead, was evidence of too much wrong-doing, with long prison sentences to serve and a homicidal drug-crazed father to answer to. They took the drug-addict path of least resistance to solve the 'problem'. My take: they are all scumbags of the highest degree and none deserve anything but the most stringent penalty the law allows on every criminal count that can be charged against every single one of them. And I wish there was a criminal charge for stupidity, laziness, and sloth. :banghead:
