I think what we have to remember and I mean no disrespect BUT what constitutes a good parent to us is IMO COMPLETELY different to them. I think I'm stating the obvious but I always try to keep that in mind. I mean in the CA case, KC's friends said she was such a good mom too, but then again that is coming mostly from her friends that are 20-something single party people. KWIM?
Maybe in their eyes, the fact that Haleigh wasn't hit, had a roof and clothing makes RC a "good" parent. JMO.
That is exactly what I was thinking. If someone asked about Ron's parenting abilities, she probably answered, (I never saw him hit his children, the kids were well fed, they were always clean, and they were happy) I'm not sure how much weight Chelesa would have placed on Ron's drug use. When you hear about kids ingesting drugs or poisonous materials, you don't think about kids as old as Haleigh. This is something toddlers get into. I don't think Haleigh's disappearance had anything to do with her ingesting drugs.
