The job at the juvie facility....she said she was waiting on the background check. She and ToC talked about how there would be no problem....I guess there was a problem. Seems odd, though. The person interviewing her knew who she was I would think. Unless, she used her maiden name for the interview...or flat out lied about the whole thing. How did she afford a $10,000 car? Grandpa?
Honestly, I was a little incredulous that she was even considered for this job. I would think someone with more on the job experience, & not her background of running with her own delinquints-& Linsey can blame the Croslins, all she wants, but those were her choices. Kind of like hiring a prison nurse who has a history of dating inmates. Also, with her total lack of practical experience, even applying for this job seemed pretentious & picky. I'm sure she could get a nursing home or home health job, but it seems that Linsey wants a job with a little more excitement & fun.LinC may not have gotten the job for reasons other than being associated with the Croslin name. Though she's young and inexperienced, it's obvious that LinC's start in nursing should not be in the juvie nor any prison system. Her unreadiness to practice nursing in such a setting probably came through during the interview. Though she may have been tweaking ToC in previous jailhouse tapes, when she revealed to him that she was flattered by the slightest attention from his inmate buddies, she could have dangled the jealousy bait in some other fashion (she knows she's being taped). Additionally, she displayed poor judgment when she told ToC about her clothing selection of short-shorts worn to a visit at a jailhouse setting. Further, had she been able to secure the job at the juvie setting, it may have been all over once she described to ToC how the young juvies ogled her and verbally flirted with her on her way in or out of her interview. She came across as flattered. The juvies would make mincemeat of her in a nanosecond. No surprise that she did not get the nursing job working with juvies, and IMO the right decision.
she should be working towards a conclusion in this case, instead of being so consumed with the daily rigors of not having a man around. She needs to get a job & not burden the welfare system. If she didn't have a nursing license, I wouldn't say that, but she has the creditionals to support her family. But instead of looking for work, she hounds Tommy about his parents owing her money, spends the last 6 bucks on herself, has obviously been tanning, & seems to be looking for excuses to not work. I don't know about Florida, but the Texas welfare system, wouldn't put up with a young, able bodied, licensed nurse, not working. They'd help her find a job. It might not be glamorous, but it would be a pay check.I think the divorce is being done for some sort of monetary reason...something going on there and she was sort of assuring him that it was a simply a formality, IMO
At the same time, she always seems to want to keep him on his toes, keep him jealous, etc..
What's this medical watch that they keep talking about? Is that like suicide watch?
As far as I know , Misty is on medical watch. She told Lisa something about fainting and falling off the toilet.

True. I've worked with many nurses in the past who landed jobs as soon as they graduated, before they even took their state boards. How long ago did Lindsey graduate, if anyone knows, and has she gotten her license back yet?
But if prospective employers are turning her down because she was married to a Croslin... that's just wrong!
I haven't heard a Misty tape, Zaha. Where did you find this one?
My favorite is Timmy's instructions for no names, and within the first couple minutes, Tommy is saying Lindsy's name.
Yes, Tommy is a true mastermind of crime. It boggles my mind that the Croslins are still talking, even though every word ends up on NG or the internet.
Tape3
ToC and Hank and Lisa
ToC must have seen the newspaper and is shocked that Hope got 15 years. ToC asks his parents to get in contact w/his lawyer that he will sign the papers to take his 3 years.
(LOL)
ETA: ToC says he saw the video of Hope bawling at her sentencing, and that if he gets 15, he'll be in worse shape than H was in.
Lindsy KNOWS that Tommy is covering for Misty. And, the only logical reason is that he's involved. Ronald knows the truth, also. Headless rat in the mailbox was a reminder to Tommy that if they go down, he goes with them. I wonder what finally convinced Lindsay?
the only way Linsey could KNOW that Tommy is covering for Misty, is if Linsey, herself, KNOWS what happened. I think Linsey THINKS Tommy is covering for Misty. I really don't think she has considered that Tommy's involved. Because if she had, why is she taking her son to visit him? If she won't let the kids see their grandparents, because of money, I don't see her letting the kids see Tommy, if she even thinks he's involved. Those priorities would just be too warped.Lindsy KNOWS that Tommy is covering for Misty. And, the only logical reason is that he's involved. Ronald knows the truth, also.
