I do want to add that my daughter had a brief separation from her husband a year or so ago and I made dern sure I kept track of her and Maddie. I would have done it despite poor Caylee, but it just goes back to how could CA NOT question the fact that she had not heard from her in over a month?? I got a call from Maddie the day we boarded the ship and the day we got off.

Anyway back to the letters, I made fresh popcorn.

I took the day of from reading. Too many kooks drinking the Kool-Aide. I would hope KC would at least send a Thank you to the ones that sent money.

I wouldn't know what to think if I came across one of someone I knew. Are there really that many lonely people in the world they need to write to a inmate for friendship? That poor girl Miranda from TN has written so many letters and I'm sure no reply, yet she keeps writing.

There will probably be more letters to come since we still have another yr before the trial. Oh....it's gonna be a long yr. I can feel it.

PS I have a Maddie too.

I looked at TM's myspace. Could it be someone stole her picture and was posing as her in those letters? I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that Casey and Tracy formed this weird friendship in those 8 days! Jeez? Seriously, what is wrong with people? I truly don't understand what people see in Casey or why in the world they would want to befriend her! Look at all she has done!

When Leonard's nephew Tony was posting here, Tony said that Tracy REALLY did like the Inmate and felt a connection to her, and was writing to her and sending her money.

Sounds like it was a "good" connection they made since Tracy says she will always consider Casey a friend. Wow....I don't know if Tracy is just hurtin' for friends or what, but someone like Casey would never be my friend. Oh, and she feels sorry for Casey? Why? What about Caylee? Does Tracy feel sorrow for Caylee?

Can't help but wonder if fostering an ongoing "friendship" with KC will help with a "media deal" to come later. The way that the bounty hunting "crew" rolled into town I can't imagine that there wouldn't be some sort of future "story" told from their perspective.

It would make it much easier to have KC's cooperation......

Whhhaaaat?? I don't get this. Padilla and team were only there for 8 days with Casey before she was arrested again, right? For Tracey to get that attached to someone she was there to guard and make sure she did not escape is so strange to me. IMO, Tracey is just as unbalanced as KC.

LOL yeah, she's pretty on target when she says "We are alot alike". Nice you can admit it, Tracy.. to bad your buddy can't!

Tracy M. has "photos" taken at the A home for 8 days while the Inmate was out of jail on bond.
Leonard has his escapades to write about ... Blanchard Park dive ... fights with Cindy .....
Rob D has a lot to tell about his chaueffer services for the Inmate .....

Tony said that Leonard and Dominic were "cookin up something" to do with the media .....

We know that Leonard has been working tirelessly to help the DEFENSE pin something nasty on Kronk.

Tony said that Leonard was in almost DAILY talks with Baez ......

When I connect the dots ... I do not see anything good coming out of this group for CAYLEE!

I am so disappointed in society - all these [unusual people] who write to Casey and beg for a return response, the proposals, the "I love you" claims, "You're so beautiful", "I look up to you", "You will always be in my heart", "Can't imagine life without Casey Anthony", the sexual propositions, etc. It's all QUITE disgusting and disturbing. And then you have the whole LP group - who are their own little [unusual] little group of people trying to make a buck off a child's murder. It's almost too much to handle. Doesn't anyone realize or think about precious little Caylee whose life was taken by a monster? Why are so many people obsessed with Casey? It sickens me to my core!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always wondered about people who write to inmates and all, but, this is the first time I have read entire letters.

It sickens me to know people like this are walking around in society. I quit reading after a bit, but, I scrolled through every one praying I didn't know anyone who had written one. Thank goodness I didn't.

But, man. Oh, man.

2) It strikes me that underneath the letter-writing, in general, is an attempt to somehow connect w/ the celebrity-element of the case. IOW...put someone in front of a TV camera for any reason - good, bad, or indifferent - and you can put good money down that they are going to get some 'fan mail' from people that want to be a part of the spectacle.

ITA, SOTS! I think they are just wanting letters back FROM KC. Wonder what those would fetch after she's sitting on death row? A pretty penny, I'd bet! JMO.

I've waded through lots of the letters. It surprised me- there were a few kooks and a few haters, but most seemed to be just a very nice supportive letter. I would bet at least half if not more were generated by George's request at the memorial to write to her, and continued requests to send her support via his group of friends/church members.

George's last letter, which I also think was written after he and Lee were accused of molestation... that was too sad to me. IMO, he has been swimming against this huge tidal wave for over a year, supporting her, supporting her. And now THIS?

The letters of encouragement were because of him, to try to help her. If Casey read these letters, I can see why she thinks she will not be found guilty. She actually believes most people out there are on her side.

This ICA person is truly being utterly evil. I can't believe she never wrote George (Cindy is a different story). I will never understand what motivates ICA, or how anyone can think she has any ability to feel someone else's suffering. There would have been a letter otherwise.

Postscript: I wanted to add that all of this is prefaced on my belief that he never molested her. Even in her letters, she says I think.. or I dreamed.. maybe.. I am sorry I can't quote exactly right now, but there was no definitive. For those who have been through incest, my heart breaks for you. If he DID molest her, I understand why she did not write him back.

Y'all probably caught it, but Annie D. wrote her a letter- begins page 16524. She says Sean and her have moved in together and she's getting a tattoo to remind her of Caylee. : ( Another supportive letter.
