Most Anti-virus programs don't detect malware, some do but are not good on updates. The program everyone needs to run for wonky computers can be found on Download.com. The name of the program to look for is called Malwarebytes, download the FREE version. Run it in full scan after updating. It's important to get updates before running the scans. Ok, if BD is innocent, she should be throwing SA under the bus now. But I highly doubt she will and I think we know why.

SICK AND DISGUSTING! I just now saw this. What in the heck is wrong with that woman? Child *advertiser censored*? She has a man in her house who has CHILD *advertiser censored* on a computer and memory stick? Bestiality? I'm just sickened and my fear of what could have happened to Hailey has just risen 1000 fold. Poor, poor Hailey. This also explains why DD was removed. I'm so disgusted right now. In my honest opinion BD knows exactly what happened to her daughter and I fear when all is brought out it is going to be so much more worse than we could have ever imagined. There are many types of memory sticks. Mine is a usb for my laptop and is like the red one pictured in the middle. These are ALL memory sticks.

Every device pictured on that web page is referred to as a "flash drive" not a "memory stick" (although the term "memory stick" appears in the URL). It may be the case that LE mis-stated what they found and MEANT that it was a flash drive, but a memory stick really is a totally different thing. Most flash drives ARE "stick-shaped" which could lead to confusion.

Texas Mist is correct. They make adapters to connect to a USB port, as most computers with a memory card slot use the SD card format.

Yes the affidavit says he was on his mother's computer after he quit work. That the mother's computer was voluntarily given up on December 30th but on January 5th the mother called and stated she was on her way to the station to pick up the computer. They then seized the computer and marked it as evidence.

Internet crimes, especially against children take a long time to put together. No one gets arrested until a case is built. You have to investigate the original suspect through ISP's and computer forensics etc. That opens a huge can of worms as LE needs to investigate the people the suspect got the images from and prosecute them. And then they investigate the people they got them from. Then they to try to find the victims and investigate their cases. After all they will take the case to a grand jury, etc etc.

I'm not understanding why people are expecting an immediate arrest here.

Yes, it also has a hard drive like a computer... Some have WI-FI capability
And you can view content off a Memory Stick or Flash drive.

I'm wondering if some of these deviant images & videos were home made. Didn't SA or his cousin have a you tube account where they posted the homemade horror films?

I'm also wondering about SA's mask collection and if LE has confiscated any of those ... or searched landfills for them. If there were videos/pics made, not just downloaded, if someone was wearing a mask it would be difficult to determine exactly who did what wouldn't it?

I'm really wondering about SA's custom made mask now. Was that the only one he had? Also wondering if some of this evidence collected led to SA being named a suspect.

There could be (depending on what OTHER parts of the masked person were in the images) ways to tell. 'Nuff said. SA is a pretty tall guy and that would rule out a large percentage of the population (provided the height of the masked individual could be determined be comparison to other things in the image).

He DID have other masks. He was wearing one in the photos Nancy Grace showed on her program (not sure I can say where they came from originally, so I will play it safe with the MSM reference) and those were not taken after Hailey disappeared (and he did not have the new mask until after she was gone).

Because they can be charged with being in possession of child *advertiser censored*. Now. If the other "deviant" images are illegal in nature then they can be charged with that as well.
If those images were found in the home then it is possession. Later they can be charged with distribution of child *advertiser censored* if computer forensics can determine that he/they sent images to other people.

However, since this is all part of a missing or murdered person case then I can see LE taking their time. They know who the suspects are for this particular matter.
