Let's consider what the jury went back to their rooms with today.

Hours and hours of Cindy's testimony, concluding with her cowering, her head on the shelf, shaking and sobbing while the third 911 call was played.

CA asking for a break, being helped off the stand by a deputy then held up by someone from Lippman's firm, then by GA. As ICA sat stony faced.

JB's ineffectual cross of Cindy.

Amy H. testifying to all the lies ICA told her, with an unmistakable tone of disdain in her voice.

Today was a major fail for the DT, IMO.

Did anyone actually hear Vinnie say that live on air or just from the youtube? It sounded like who whoever was recording the video to me.I'd hate for VP to take the blame if it wasn't him. :innocent:

I do not think that is true at all. I think she is a devoted mother and grandmother who was duped by her sociopathic daughter. Mothers always want to believe the best about their kids. Casey was a very accomplished liar.

NONE of caseys other friends knew she was lying either. Friends she lived with did not even know. They thought she had a job and a nanny and was a college student to boot. Are they all 'crazy' too, just like Cindy? I don't think so/

I agree with you but if I was on the jury I would think CA is very naive.

That's heartbreaking. It looked like CA got hit by a big dose of reality today.

It appears she has left the denial stage and is now in the grieving stage for the first time. Very heart wrenching.

She's a wrecker - she's taking everyone and everything down with her - just watch it will get nothing but worse now that she knows they're on the offensive.

JB seems like he's really making an effort to make it appear that CA is not based in reality, which seems to be true.

But she IS based in reality. She knows she was lying and why. She didn't "believe" the lies, was just good at coming up with them convincingly and could keep them all straight. IMO.

Don't forget the jail cail!!! IMO that was the most damaging because they got to hear CAs sociopathy for themselves.

Bless Linda's heart for checking on Cindy. I could see the devastation in her eyes today just trying to do her job. I know she didn't want to have to do this to Cindy, or put her through any of it.

I noticed that too. The whole thing is just heartbreaking to watch. I seriously don't know how much more George and Cindy can take. Honestly, Cindy looks like she's close to needing to be hospitalized to me.

it is very interesting that you say this and I completely agree.

Back before this was a forum we tried to figure out the family behavior over and over using the grief scale. I am a nurse and very familiar with the stages. I completely agree that she was lodged in the early stages and something has shoved her into the the rest of the process. It is almost like she is experiencing all of the rest of the stages all at once like a landslide and it is horrifying to me as a nurse to watch.

I am very concerned for Cindy. I am so glad that she seems to have a lot of support to lean on.

Well,I don't want to bash the A's at all any more,BUT,CA made enough statements to others about ICA stealing,being a sociopath and a liar,so I don't think she was duped.She knew ICA had serious issues,just never imagined she would kill.

VP also acknowledged it in reply tweets to people that were asking/acknowledging that they heard it.

In the scope of things that happened today...I see this as a moment of humor needed in a day of much sadness.

I soooo agree with you. I thought that was by far the most damaging. Gave the jury a real insight into who she really is. Certainly not the poor little abused girl that the DT would have them believe.

MH is the guy in the military in California. ICA was stringing him along too. He came back and wore a wire to JB's office.
IIRC, LA had an affair with his wife. She went back to MH and they later divorced.

ETA: others say it was his sister, not his wife. don't want to start a rumor. sorry
