The woman sitting close the the DT table in brown with bright yellow blouse is Jeanne Barrett, CAs bestist buddy, aka, mitigation specialist.

LOL count--maybe you can tweet that to Bob Kealing? He didn't know earlier today when someone tweet-asked him...

Forest Whitaker, hands down...

Oh yeah! Just looked up his picture. His eyes even look the same! Wish we could put up side by side pictures of all the suggestions with Judge Perry's picture. I don't know how.

Does the jury not get to go out to resturants?

Are they not able just to get up and go to the mall if they want, or to CVS, walmart?

Like I like to get off by myself sometimes, are they not allowed to do that?

From what I understand they are not allowed because at CVS (etc) they could encounter a HUGE magazine cover etc that says "BODY IN TRUNK NOT CAYLEES" or something inflammatory and thus the juror is now tainted.

Does anyone know what happened to the other mitigation specialist? (Can't remember her name but she's the one that divorced her husband and married a convicted murderer..) She was there for a few days of the jury selection and was all buddy buddy with Casey and then **gone***.
Sarcastic reply would be, she used all she could get from ICA for her book.

The Defense's job is to discredit or poke holes in the expert testimony. It would help if it made sense, but it doesn't IMO hide the facts put forth by the prosecution nor does it make the evidence disappear. The State was very thorough in their testing. They took the samples of the bay to rule out anything found in the air sample in the trunk. I'm confused by one thing (ok, a lot!), how does the defense think Caylee was transported after she died in the pool? If Casey' car was used in their scenario (as in George has a set of keys too), wouldn't there have been a presence of decomp. By trying to rule out the "smell" and evidence found in the car, aren't they proving their other statements to be false?

They are probably going to try and point out LE's incompetence showing they didn't take air samples from the other vehicles, like GA & CAs.

I like Morgan Freeman's soothing voice (like when he does voice overs for animal planet etc)....he could very well represent HHJP's ability to bring our blood pressure down etc.

I know they have scheduled activities planned (per JP in past statements), but I would imagine a lot of those things are out of the public eye. They can visit with their family on weekends. I would think that would have to be at the hotel. I'm glad no one's made the effort to track down their whereabouts. Their job is hard enough without media nonsense IMHO.

Wait, but that's not necessarily true. Lowe testified today that not ALL hair on the head of a dead person has the root banding. They don't know why. It might have something to do with the stage the hair was in (actively growing, about to fall out, etc).

So a hair in the duct tape without a root band could be from a living person OR from a deceased person. No band does not prove the person was alive.
This, along with the fact that the hair was cut away from the tape, will make it easily disputed if the state attempts to make this assertion. I think it's no help at all in proving the tape was applied before death.

Those THs, except for Kathi, know so little, yet they write and speak as if they do. I do not watch or read any of it.

the hair in question q12 was 9 inches long, ICA was excluded to be the source, Lee had short hair, George had short hair, and I don't believe Cindy's was 9 inches long either. The jury will use their common sense with this one.

The Witness testified they do not know what causes the banding and or why some bodies display it and other do not, but so far the testing to replicate it has not been successful. I believe that the Jury will believe the FBI witness who said "She believed this to be postmortem hair banding and leave it at that.

JB made a few points today but he lost it all on the jury. They totally I think blew him off.

This part bothers me. Did they test all the hair left on the duct tape and it just hasn't been submitted into evidence yet because the prosecutors are following the timeline and we haven't gotten to that part in the timeline yet?

Lera I totally agree with your assessment of today. Jose made a point that the hair cannot be used to identify who it came from(?) or something close to that...the witness had no problem saying that and even offered it right at the beginning but Jose spent, seriously and hour(?) making that point over and over again.

Thundar, your question is part of what I am talking about here: the State is giving their case in layers. It is brilliant IMHO. Jose is jumping the gun, and getting ahead of himself because his client is a pathological brat who wants her acquittal, and she wants it "NOW." So, to please ICA (IMHO) he has to get up there and go at what she sees as "holes" right away. She almost can't stand it...imho. Heck the defense called for a mistrial yesterday, or was it the day before that...days are starting to run together. :therethere:

It is unreal at the amount of information the State has had to put into this to make sure Casey and her bag of tricks do not prevail.

:tyou: is not enough to LDB and JA.

Caylee Maire! :blowkiss:

Maybe a restaurant if a section was reserved for them apart from other patrons and the employees would also have to be instructed not to talk with them. Retail stores, I wouldn't think so at all as they could be exposed to magazines, etc. I imagine if they "need" something it can be bought for them.

MOO

...no doubt because they didn't smell.

Hair caught in the tie string of the trash bag, could have been the reason that it was left in the car.

BBM

By "trash bag" are you talking about the bag that actually contained trash? If so, no other hairs with deathbands were retrieved from the trash bag. Seems unlikely ONE hair with a death band would find it's way into the tie string of a bag of trash, and then somehow fall out into the back of the trunk.

My best guess is that this deathband hair came from Caylee's head as she was lying, out of a bag, in the back of the trunk. Since it was a PULLED hair, my guess is that, when the body was moved, the hair caught on something inside the trunk (spare tire well, bolt, screw, who knows) and was left behind in the trunk when the body was moved.

Well that was the worst I've ever seen Baez and I've seen ever hearing more times than I care to admit. Something really rattled him - did he think he had a shot of keeping Ms Lowe from testifying as an expert? Weird.

Also, I've noticed the defense team is looking more shaky and disorganised as the days go on. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Sims, I don't know when she realised what a joke this was but I could feel her pain today when she forcefully expelled air from her mouth in a moment of disgust/frustration at the last thing Mason said. If it is included in wftv vids everyone should take a look - quite telling. I feel your pain Dot.

I keep smirking, a la JB, whenever I see the "animated" KC....I really think she's been told and believes she's gonna be acquitted....BUT, I'm sure she hasn't had it explained to her that she don't get "acquitted" on ALL the charges AND she ain't goin home for quite a long time.
AND, since HHJBP has gone thru all this poo poo, and the tax payers in Fla have PAID for all this poo poo.....she's gonna be up "poo poo creek" without the proverbial paddle!!

IMO....she's gonna get the MAX on everything else IF she's found NG on the murder charges.

Exactly! BS on wftv said the defense is a schizophrenic defense. I agree.

JMO and acting as a casting director, some the happenings today have reinforced my initial "pick" I posted several days ago, of Jon Lovitz from Saturday Night Live to play the role of JB.
